Enjoyed lunch here before cross country skiing at Harris Farm. The menu is huge, the food is great and well priced, and the staff is friendly. I came in around 10:30 and asked when lunch starts and they said “anytime!” Was able to get a lobster roll and baked potato, which are generally dinner items, with no issue. Both were delicious. Plenty of seating. An employee was on her break while I was waiting for my food and talked to me the whole time about the Dayton area, since she lived there over 30 years. I learned a lot. Only regret is that I was too full to try the ice cream.

Food is excellent. The French fries are home made and so good. The buns for the burgers are the best in the business. Everything is made to order and fresh. But the quality is sometimes spotty depending on who is in the kitchen. The staff is always friendly. The picture below is of the haddock sandwich that is on special for Friday it is the best fried haddock sandwich around. Always made perfect and juicy.

Well, the name probably gives it away but this is a place that falls between two stools. Set up for the summer ice cream rush (Iwas there for breakfast) , you order at the counter, pick up a number and grab a table. The interior is lots of pine panelling with simple tables and chairs. Meals are served in plastic baskets or breakfast is on paper plates with plastic cutlery! Kind of a boy or girl scout jamboree vibe. That said, I don’t let the “ambiance” get in the way of having a good brekky, and in fact here, yes its good. The menu for brekky is pretty simple, no “benes” but if you are looking for eggs and bacon (great thick cut, may be local in fact). So for the basics, cooked well, and you are ok with the paper and plastic, the portions are huge and the cost is low. Id say its gets best value for money in the neighborhood, just don’t wish for anything complicate – or plates and proper cutlery.

SUPER friendly staff, great food, and good prices. Definitely “kid-friendly”. Running right now (COVID) like a canteen, so you order food at the counter and bus your own tables. I was impressed by the quality and portions when we went for breakfast (I can recommend the blueberry pancakes!). The goats out back were a really fun bonus. Will *CERTAINLY* go back and try their lunch & dinner menus real soon.

I have been in search of the best local milkshake/frappe and I believe that I have found it!! I might have gained a few extra pounds this summer but it was fun and today’s find was well worth the trip. And the price was right. They also serve home style cooking Breakfast and Lunch menu.

We love it here! If you want a meal or ice cream and eat inside, that’s great. We prefer to sit outside at the picnic tables and watch with the goats in the summer. The kids meals have good portion sizes and come with a free soft serve ice cream cone. Our 2 year old asks about the goats all the time!

Food was good, other than the Cole slaw had gone bad. Waitstaff are friendly. Food came out relatively fast.

I absolutely love this restaurant!! I moved an hour away to Dover and still make it a point to stop in here anytime I’m within 20 minutes of the place. The breakfast is great, the chicken tenders are about as good as the Backroom, and the ice cream and other desserts are incredible. All the food is good, I’ve never had a bad experience here and I’m wicked picky. And it’s all priced very reasonably!! Quality and affordability is rare these days – AND they have friendly, helpful employees!!
