We live in South Fork, and Gone Rogue is one of our regular go-tos. We’ve been coming here since the beginning — and even before that, back when the space was Candy’s Firehouse — so it’s been really special watching it grow into what it is today.

A big part of why we keep coming back is the heart behind the place. You can feel the pride and personality that Candy and Rhys bring to it. It’s welcoming, genuine, and unmistakably local — the kind of spot that makes you feel like a regular because, well… we are.

Our order rarely changes. The Gone Rogue chicken sandwich is crispy, juicy, and packed with flavor — exactly what you want after a long day in the mountains. And the Elwood is hearty, savory, and completely satisfying every time. Those two alone keep us loyal.

Great food, friendly atmosphere, and owners who clearly care about what they’re building — for us, it’s not just a restaurant, it’s part of our routine.

Best food South fork has ever seen. Real food real flavor. The owner’s run it and they’re the nicest people in the world. If you’re passing by, this is the place to eat! The catfish was perfectly fried and not heavily breaded. You can’t go wrong by eating here.

Just had an amazing meal at Gone Rogue!! The catfish sandwich was SO GOOD and breaded to perfection. The burger was juicy and packed with flavor! I also suggest the Pepper Roulette, great way to start the meal. You can tell there is love and pride driving the team here. A must go to when in or passing through South Fork

We had an amazing experience at Gone Rogue! From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere felt warm and welcoming — the perfect mountain-town vibe after a long day out.

The food was absolutely excellent ,fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. Every dish tasted thoughtfully made and high quality. You can really tell they care about what they serve.
But what truly stood out was the service. Candie and the staff was attentive, friendly, and genuinely kind without ever feeling rushed. They made us feel taken care of the entire time and added to the relaxed, enjoyable experience.
This place is a gem in South Fork, great food, great people, and a place we will definitely keep coming back to. Highly recommend!

Been coming to South Fork for 20 years, very few dining options to choose from. So to discover this absolute gem in town was just incredible. Friendly service, and the food was shockingly delicious!
I had the purgatory chicken sandwich and my friend had the cheesesteak. Both blew our expectations out of the water. We will be coming back every time we’re back in town! Keep up the good work!

Stopped on our way through from Durango to Denver, impressive little mom and pop stop! Thickest burger I’ve ever seen for a good price.
It’s kind of a fast casual ordering style, which I like. They were super friendly and made sure to ask us how the food was. Will stop back through again.

Casual, comfortable, family friendly atmosphere with an alternative flair. The giant skeleton outside decorated for Christmas was a dead giveaway this place is lighthearted and friendly. There is a a shelf full of games to play at your table. The menu has a little something for everyone. Check out their daily specials too. Their burgers were excellent, plenty of sides to choose from. The Chicken Adobo special was spiced just right. If you are in the area, this place is worth the stop.
