Good coffee. Light and fluffy pancakes with whipped butter. Bacon was meaty, and not overly salty. My wife had the Fisherman’s breakfast; Eggs scrambled, sausage patties, home fries and biscuit. Everything was delicious.

I could tell you all about the great country food and the cute authentic atmosphere, but this (look at the picture) is what true community is all about and what we need more of everywhere! They had multiple of these signs everywhere. Absolutelly stop by and support this business that supports people!

We were there on March 21st while visiting Celina for the Chocolate Gravy Festival. I noticed a sign that said that breakfast was served all day. Yay for me because I like breakfast at dinner time.
And then we were told by the waitress that breakfast was not served all day. **Sigh**
So, I ordered a BLT. I was with a (male) friend who seemed to get all of our waitress’ attention. I’m guessing she thought (rightly so, in this case) that he was paying, but maybe not be so obvious about your target audience. She seemed young, though, so maybe she’s just learning the finesse of dealing with customers to get the best tips.
Anyway, the BLT was not that great. And, I mean, it’s a BLT. We’re not talking very sophisticated food here. The bacon was limp, not crisp at all, and there was very little of it. The sandwich was just… meh. The fries were meh as well.
My friend was asked if he wanted dessert. He had it; it was a caramel pie, I think.
I don’t know, it was just disappointing. Also, after being at other diners during the weekend, it was obvious the food here was comparatively sub-par.
One thing, though: the parking is fine. Crossing the street in Celina is not like running across 42nd St. in NYC. You can park anywhere in the square and get to the restaurant just fine.

We were traveling from out of state and knew as soon as I saw the place I had to stop! So glad I did!!
Just a good ol’ country good place to eat.
We had the a mushroom Swiss burger and the Philly cheese steak. Burger was prepared just right and one word for the cheese steak….DAYUM!
Never had one like that, meat was perfect and it had some kind of heat to it, not too much, just right.
I talked to Lexus and Katy and Katy said the cheese was pepperjack! It made it delicious, and Honda thunk!
Sides of rings and fries were also good.
If you are headed to Cave City, plan a stop to see the sweet ladies!

It’s unfortunate how we set out on a road trip this morning from out of town. Picked a place to eat and this was the place that we settled on for breakfast. Wish we would have kept driving. Not an adult working in site and the restaurant ran like a teen ran it. After 45 mins of waiting for food when everyone else that came in after us had theirs. I was told yeah others are ahead of you. 5 tables plus ours with people in them in the whole place and 3 of them had food. When the hour mark hit we got our food. Food was delicious but half of it was cold. Will not visit again.

We are a party of 5, my wife and I were there for the 3 kids. Review the footage to when the waitress brought us our food after an hour of being there with half a restaurant full to when I asked her what was the best way to eat the meals we were brought. She said with hot sauce… I asked should we eat it with hot sauce and our hands?
Multiple people walked in and had their food before ours! While the hash brown meal was cooked to order it was still cold so it doesn’t change that. 5 tables and 3 wait staff is hardly justified as busy. I’m normally not one to complain but when I have to swat the flies off the food and away from the table it isn’t the most becoming of an establishment! So since adding this I will be losing my atmosphere score from a 4 to a 2!

What a fun little restaurant the locals make this place. I’m not from here, and don’t know anyone. Everyone was joking and just as friendly as could be. It made my lunch. If you’re not a local, stop in and say hello to the locals you’re sure to leave with a smile on your face. Oh and the food is great too. At least the burger was.

I ordered the Country Boy Breakfast. The country ham was very good. Overall the meal was really good. Only thing i would change is home made sausage gravy over the biscuits rather than generic pepper gravy that everybody uses. I will definitely return there to eat.

5 Banger just because I love these little. Choke n pukes off the beaten path.
Heading down for my annual trip to Volusia Speedway in Barboursville FL and decided to cut through the countryside around Glasgow Kentucky to look at a tractor i’m thinking of buying.
Took 111 and a few other roads through the bush to Chattanooga to catch 75, along the way I passed through a country town called Celina.
Just happen to notice the cafe and had to stop, that’s the nice thing about rolling solo on this trip.
Living keto, looking for no carbs, sugar etc…however their burgers looked phenomenal as I walked in. Took a look at the menu and saw they offer keto buns! Hot Damn it’s a cheeseburger for me today.
Added side salad for a side.
I’ll tell you they make a great burger.
Neat place, highly recommend if you are on a road trip adventure in the bowels of ole Kentuck.

Delicious food and super nice waitress. We stopped through on the way to Chattanooga and really enjoyed it. The short stack is enormous! I am gluten-free due to an allergy and the staff was accommodating. I got an egs/bacon/hash browns plate and it was exactly what I wanted. Very reasonable pricing too.
