We were pleasantly surprised by this restaurant. We chose the calzones after being recommended by our waitress. We got a meatball calzone and a chicken and spinach calzone. They were cooked to perfection and tasted so good! Service was great as well. I’d love to go back if we are ever in the area again.

Recently moved to Sweetwater from Lenoir City and we have dined at the Lenoir City location many times and it is always fantastic. Got to-go food last night and the pizza from this location reminded us of cafeteria pizza from back in our school days. The flavors were off and we didn’t even come close to finishing the pizza. The Alfredo sauce was also flavorless with no garlic or salt taste. The lady that took my order was very nice.

I came this warm and decent Italian restaurant while passing Sweetwater. The dining room was decorated well like warm home. The service was fast and friendly. Their menu had steaks, subs, pizzas, and salads with a relatively low price. I ordered their signature Philly steak sub with spaghetti side. The sub tasted fresh with a large size of steak and vegetables. The spaghetti was juicy with an authentic meat sauce. Gondolier is definitely a fantastic Italian chain restaurant with amazing service, large sizes, and good price.

Gondolier is amazing. I have never gotten bad food from them, and have tried quite a few items off the menu. The pizza is great! I love the Gondolier Special or just a plain cheese. They also support the community which is nice.

I wish there was an option to leave 0 stars but unfortunately I can’t. My steak sub was not edible — it tasted like it had been dipped in salt, and the meat looked more like dog food than steak. My boyfriend’s meal wasn’t any better; his food also tasted like a salt block. Our waitress only checked on us maybe three times the whole meal. Definitely not worth the money. I wouldn’t have even fed this food to my dog.

I have been twice to the one in Sweetwater. Spaghetti the first time and lasagna the second. Or rather, noodles and tomatoes sauce and pasta/cottage cheese with meat sauce poured over it. So bad. Maybe its the pizza I need to try but I don’t think I can force myself to come back for a 3rd time

Just moved to sweetwater from Chicago and we were craving pizza. We tried the chicken Alfredo pizza and the wings that they carry and they were both very delicious. I even went back a few days later for the same thing and it was still delicious. Definitely will be somewhere I visit often near home.
