We love this place. Been going weekly for years. Everyone is friendly and the food is great. Unfortunately, the other nite something happened that has severely changed my opinion. My mother died last year, and only dad’s birthday, we took him to Gondola. It was his 84th birthday, and his first without mom. Mind you, he’s been battling cancer for years, and the radiation has disintegrated his teeth, so he eats slowly. Oh, did I also mention he has 3 bleeding brain tumors? Well, imagine our disgust when the hostess/owner came over several times, clearly rushing us, and the last time even saying “I need your tables”. At one point my sister overheard her chastising our waiter telling him to hurry us up. Well, he didnt. He was awesome, unlike the owner. Thanks Gondola; you’ve ruined our 30+ years of great opinions and service of your place.

We came at 1pm on valentines day expecting long wait times and possible hiccups. Absolutely not!!! Server was so sweet and everything was so fast! We were seated, served, ate and gone within 1 hour. Our food was perfect. We had ribeye, onion rings and a seafood platter split between the two of us and it was only $48!!!! Upon being seated our server brought us two complimentary cheesecakes. We will absolutely be back.

Gondola was good. They charge for every little thing so be ready to spend more. The only real reason to visit is the soup and salad bar. Very worth it. It’s an upcharge if you add it to any menu item. The pizza was just ok. Great for large groups. I wouldn’t go with less than 4 people.

It had something for everyone, young and old. The prices made me feel like I was back in the 80’s. Shared a pitcher for the first time in a long time. We were a group of 6 adults and 4 kids. The server was very friendly and had a joking way with everyone, and it worked. Very cool, nostalgia-like experience.

Yesterday we ordered from Gondolas. The food was delicious and enjoyed very much but the one that answered my call was so rude. I tried to say thank you and she hung up before I could. When my husband went in to pick it up she saw him and left the register. Somebody else hung up his order. We used to order the potato soup there (2 large cups) every Wednesday.. Besides the other times we went. We did not appreciate her rudeness at all.

We were there 2/14/24 for Valentine’s Day. It was really busy, we had an awesome waitress. She took our order and it came out hot and delicious. I had lasagna. Its huge! Also had garlic toast with it. They have a beautiful salad bar, going to get that next time.
