Coming back from Greece, this was the very first meal I sat down to enjoy after a 33hr flight back home back in the states. My tastebuds were blown away by savory deliciousness with everything overall. What’s most exciting for me is Gumbo’s features a seasonal menu with craft cocktails as well in addition to their set menu. The salads, grilled oysters, Shrimp & Grits, Étouffée, Seafood Jambalaya were so good! When visiting and I’m hungry for a great meal and craft cocktails, this will be my go-to place. All of the dishes are not spicy, as they have options like the fried chicken mac & cheese. The staff and hospitality are so friendly and attentive. There is indoor and outdoor seating depending on the atmosphere you prefer. The restaurant feeling is cozy and moody with an eclectic decor. There is on street metered parking available.

First time here, nice spot along Main Street. Decent Menu, drink side they serve knock off brand liquor, I’m a Jack Daniel’s guy and the waitress got me a well liquor that was suitable so beware of that. Food wise we tried the Crabcakes and Chicken Sausage Jambalaya, both were good. The inside area looked nice and inviting but we chose outdoors for the great weather. Worth a visit if you want to try somewhere new or revisit if you’ve been there before!!

Food was very good but the portion size was quite small for what it cost. I get the economy is what it is but $15 for 6 wings (3 drums and 3 flats) is crazy. Crab cake sizes were also very small for the asking price. The crawfish bisque was really great
At the very least, the atmosphere was nice. Staff were friendly but not super attentive.

Funny enough, we wandered into this place around lunch time after having checked out their dinner menu but were surprised to hear that it was their second day of serving lunch. I was surprised to see a place up here serving gator and immediately went for it, and I was not disappointed! The gator tail was tender and flavorful, and the house made aioli-type sauce in the sandwich was great. Overall, would highly recommend this place, for at least lunch!

Food was creative and great flavors Place is super cute and good vibe. It was super cold but staff was kind enough to move us away from the door. Apps are pretty small for the price but very tasty. Drinks are tasty and creative but small The fries are a whole
Meal with good flavor but a little
Overrated. The fried green tomatoes and corn were amazing and soup and all foods had authentic Cajun flavors. Impressed with that! Will want to come back to try other things Oysters were amazing and fresh

Gombo’s atmosphere and food and service are the best I’ve had in years. From the music vibe, to the new
Orleans and flavor and look, this place is the BEST restaurant I’ve eaten at in years! My drink was insanely delicious and gorgeous! My children tried and LOVED new food like oysters and clams and mussels. It was an incredible dining experience and one of the best of my life! You will LOVE the service, hometown feel of New Orleans meets MA meets NY?? This restaurant is cooler than cool, it’s perfect.

Food and drinks were great! We had the Fried Chicken Mac and Cheese and the Catfish. We loved everything! My only complaint: DIM THE LIGHTS. IT FEELS LIKE I’M SITTING IN A CLASSROOM…

This Cajun/Creole spot brings bold flavors to the Northampton food scene. I revisited recently under the new ownership—loved the cornbread and pickles, but the entrees didn’t quite hit the mark (the shrimp were overcooked). Still a fun option to shake up the usual date night, but next time I’ll probably stick to drinks and apps.

After hearing great things about Gombo, Tony and I finally decided to try it for dinner last night. We started by sharing a small plate of boudin balls, which were very flavorful. I particularly enjoyed the house-made pickles that accompanied them; they had the perfect sweet and spicy balance! Tony ordered the blackened catfish, while I chose the New Orleans red beans and rice. Both dishes were packed with flavor and had just the right amount of heat. The cornbread was amazing! It was made from scratch, slightly grilled, and served with honey butter. Be sure to order the cornbread! The wait staff was attentive and the owner, Cassidy, stopped over to chat for a moment. We will be back soon!
