Oh, my goodness, this place was an absolute nightmare! The service was beyond terrible, with only one overwhelmed server desperately attempting to handle everything. The food, oh, it was an abomination! Completely flavorless and of such poor quality that it made my taste buds weep in despair. But wait, there’s more. Brace yourself for the horror that awaited me in the bathroom—no soap! Can you believe it? Instead, they had the audacity to provide a mere bottle filled with water. It was a disgusting mockery of basic hygiene.

When you enter the host takes you to your table and fills your hot pot with a basic broth. You will then choice a protein, dipping sauce, and any extra appitizers. There’s a buffet style ingredient bar for you to get unlimited veggies, noodles, fish cakes, etc. You put all ingredients in yourself and enjoy. Over all we enjoied everything. Wish the broth was a little more flavorful.

I’m not one to leave reviews but my used to be favorite place has turned so bad. Tonight there was a man (assuming owner by his actions) who was very unwelcoming to us. Seems the place is going downhill since prices have raised even with their slim election compared to other hot pot places in the area. The man not only was upset when we asked for more soup saying we had enough even though my food wasn’t even covered in soup, he said he didn’t want it waste. He was upset when my friend was trying to get sauce and cilantro. Lastly as we were done we waited up front to check out for several minutes so I went back to the table they were picking up plate from and nicely said we were ready to checkout, all he said is there’s a bell when there was not. Very rude. Will never be back. Do yourself a favor and drive to 9292 Shabu in Duluth for similar prices and HUGE selection.

This place used to be great! Since the manager/owner started working there it has changed and not for the better. DO NOT go here with more than 2 people its a HUGE issue and they act put upon if your party is 4 or more. Don’t go here if you want have separate checks. The owner says “I don’t know how to do that. ” The manager/owner is so RUDE the other man came to apologize to us. So unfortunate we used to go once a week. The place has gone down hill fast.

Food is good, but they always rush you out and close so early. The sign says it closes at 9 but they refuse guests at 8 and start to close at 830. You can’t enjoy your food. Hot pot is usually taking your time to cook at your table and enjoy your entree with assortment of veggies. Here, they treat the place like it’s a fast food spot.

I have had Japanese shabu. This is varied to Korean style I believe but a great spot for shabu. Opt’d for the premium beef with my combination. All the meat and seafood was fresh and good quality. The atmosphere could use some updating/improvement. The service was exceptional. We were treated with pourage and fermented radish at the end.

The waiter had no common sense how to treat customers. he was a very rude and tries to argue with customers, made us feel resentful. He was so consistent until the last min when we head out by demanding 20% gratitude. ( we didn’t say anything but just tipped him more than 20% and swore we will never go back. Gom in Duluth servers were way Way better.
