I’ve got a few favorite combos that always hit the spot. For example, their Black Lava Salt bagel with honey pistachio cream cheese is a total winner. EGG bagel, I love pairing it with either garlic or lemon dill cream cheese. Favorite sandwich:, the “New Mexican Cousin” sandwich is my absolute favorite, but all their sandwiches are really good.
The everything pumpernickel needed a little more salt.

The Bagel Shop Reuben at $15 is well above the prices of Blue Sky, but every once in a while I want an indulgence buy. Pastrami, Swiss cheese, sauerkraut, Russian dressing. Last Sunday, had mine on dark Pumpernickel. It’s not real big, however every bite was delicious. My wife likes the everything bagel with a delicious thick spread of veggie cream cheese. All the spreads remind me of being in Brooklyn, The bagels are smaller in diameter than H & H in New York, but every bit as good. Cute place to hang out and people watch. Anxious to try some of the different cream cheese spreads and canned drinks.
Definitely will be back for more.
I didn’t end up ordering anything, but my son ordered a pb&j and my husband ordered the fisherman.
Already, it was disappointing that they were making it seem like they were doing us a favor by servicing us 7mins before they closed…but when we opened the fisherman it wasn’t made with intention. They capers were only in the center of the bagel and the bagel was literally just thrown together. It’s so disappointing because these bagels are already expensive and I order here quite often! It’s my go to bagel shop and I drive 30mins to come here. That unfortunately will probably be my last time going there.
I think it’s important to show your customers that you actually care about their experience, the service you are providing them with and the way the food is put together. I recommend this shop ALLL the time and that put a bad taste in my mouth.
If they can’t make bagel after a certain point, they should specify that. I feel like any bagel on the menu should be able to be made before 3pm(closing time). As an owner I would be very disappointed that my staff is turning away any amount of business before our closing time. I’d care more about our customers sharing great news about how we went above and beyond by turning the grill back on and still serving what the customer has requested before the actual closing time.
