No issues when I stopped by. You have to go in the main entrance to be able to get in the bakery. I felt safe enough since customers were following the rules. I was craving some Filipino food so I picked up a breakfast sampler.

I’m a regular here, and though I admit that the service could be more efficient and less confusing, the food itself has never disappointed me. We regularly order the chop suey, pork sinigang (sour soup), chicken inasal, BBQ sticks, fresh lumpia, palabok, arroz caldo, and bistek (onion beef) — all delicious — and those don’t even cover half of the items they have available!
The lumpia shanghai and chicken empanadas are my go-to tray orders when contributing to a potluck event. You can call ahead to place your order on the phone and pick it up when you’re ready (just be prepared that if they are busy, they might not pick up the phone at first).
It can get a little chaotic with the ordering system. You wait until someone is free to assist you, and you order one item at a time. I wish you could just order everything at once and they would write it down and move on. But, oh well, it is what it is. Much of the staff is friendly enough… maybe because they recognize me because I am there so often! 🙂

Hit or miss place at this place. Just purchased 3 fresh lumpia for close to $10. When we got home, the sauce is watered down, no flavor and seems something was overlooked. Next time try it first before taking it home. I would have returned to complain but not worth the drive. Don’t waste your money!

Visited Goldilocks Restaurant with high hopes given the iconic name associated with Filipino cuisine, but unfortunately, I was left rather disappointed. First off, their portions felt minimalistic at best. Each dish seemed to favor an excessive amount of soup while skimping on the actual meat, which was quite a letdown. The quality of their offerings didn’t resonate with the authentic Filipino flavors I’ve been accustomed to, especially when compared to the heartwarming meals from one’s home.
Furthermore, while I understand that restaurants can get swamped during peak times, the staff’s demeanor took a sharp turn for the worse when things got busy. The rudeness exhibited was uncalled for and significantly impacted the overall dining experience.
In a place where genuine Filipino food is a cultural treasure, Goldilocks sadly falls short in delivering both in taste and service. I’d recommend exploring other options if you’re keen on relishing true Filipino flavors.

Goldilocks has chicken chop-suey every Wednesday & Weekends. It’s sooooo good! It has cut boneless chicken meat, quail eggs, baby corn, broccoli, cauliflower, red bell peppers, green bell peppers, onions, cabbage, green beans, celery, zucchini, chaote squash, carrots, and more! All those vegetables are in a chicken-broth sauce which is fantastic! Also love so many other things they have their, like the tocino, longaniza, bistek, chicken adobo, pork adobo, pancit, pork chop steak, pork or chicken bbq sticks, etc, etc, etc. They have So many other things that I have not mentioned! Like deserts Highly recommend.

I always drop by this place to order Filipino cooked foods. You could order thru Door Dash or dine in too but Door Dash is a little pricey. If I’ve spent around $87.00, I already have 7 diff type of meals and bread or pastries too. Food is good and it’ll last me for awhile without cooking which saves me time and money. Highly recommended.

VERY RUDE! STALE BREAD ROLLS! VERY POOR SERVICE!
Pre ordered lumpia and bread rolls for pick up at 12 noon on Christmas eve. It took us an hour and a half wait to get our order. Apparently they had to take frozen lumpia from their refrigerator and asked the kitchen to cook it just then. We waited until it was cooked then as soon as it came the person who was about to place our order in a bag stopped and entertained someone else who had to show him something on his phone. He knew we were waiting but instead of handing our order to us he , took his sweet time of entertaining a persons phone and completely ignored us! Very RUDE! On top of that, we came home, served the bread rolls and it was STALE. I ordered two bags of bread rolls and both were stale.
It took them one hour and a half to prepare our pre ordered pre paid food. Apparently the person infront of us had a problem with her pre ordered food. We all had to wait until they were able to solve the mis communication of the person’s order… it was spaghetti then change to something else …etc.
Very RUDE and very POOR quality of food and very POOR SERVICE!!!
If there is a zero or no star at all that would be my rating for Goldilocks in Milpitas!

I bought assorted Puto cups just yesterday at 3pm May 30 only to find out that there are already molds . Unfortunately. My husband and son try to snack it but threw them away instead and while I’m taking a nap . Then they told me and showed the left over which they didn’t throw for me to see . And you don’t put any expiry date which is your violation of the law of the health department . What a shame considering you have a name I have the picture I’ll show your staff because they will recognize me

They take not wanting to waste food TOO FAR. There were several times when the food I ordered was not fresh and tasted old. Yet I kept coming back because I wanted to give them another chance. However, I don’t think I will anymore, especially after a relative told me that they saw a co-worker drop food on the floor and then put it back on the display case for customers to buy. Unacceptable!
