✨Location✨
Absolutely love its location in the middle of Czech village. Absolutely adorable area with tons of Christmas lights right now. Definitely worth walking around and just admiring
✨Price✨
I actually think the prices were pretty reasonable. Especially at the happy hour discount. The food is high quality and worth the cost as well
✨Ambiance✨
This is where they get five stars from me. I absolutely love the Christmas takeover. I really felt like I was being transported into a very merry and magical experience.
✨Drinks✨
I loved the drink selection you can tell that they put a lot of effort into coming up with their recipes. Very unique drinks on the menu
✨Recommendation✨
I would definitely say check out their event calendar and pop in for a music bingo night or another event. It’s definitely worth the price and it’s definitely worth making your way out. Finding Street parking.

My only bad experience was with my server waiting 35 minutes to even bring me water while immediately taking care of people who were sat 20 minutes after us. I will say after my husband complained she was amazing and made sure to come by very frequently and even honored the happy hour price since by the time she came to us happy hour was over. But I will say bad customer service always leaves a scar.

Our first time visiting Goldfinch and we were not disappointed! We went on a Saturday and ordered off the brunch menu. The full menu comes out at 1P.
It was really hard to choose what to try, so we know we’ll be back.
The pictures are showing “The Loaf of the Party” – which is a Belgium waffle topped with meatloaf, bacon, your choice of egg and a chipotle ketchup drizzle; topped with carrot ribbons (tasted like chips). Served with their breakfast potatoes. The other is “The Sweet Piglet” which is a Belgium waffle topped with pulled pork, sunny side egg, Caroline BBQ sauce, cheese sauce, and hot honey; served with breakfast potatoes. My partner ordered it without the pickles and onion.
Great atmosphere and I saw they had a really spacious and cute party room. The bar was beautiful and they had a lot of creative drinks on their menus, including 3 monthly themed cocktails.
Ample parking in the back lot.

Service was good! Went on a sat about 2ish afternoon and hardly any customers. Ordered the tins melt, could stand to use more tuna. Bacon was chewy and cooked over easy. The meatloaf burger was good, a lot of meat and had good flavor. Would give it another try

Stopped for work and what an epic place. Was decorated nicely for the holiday spirit and the food was awesome. Super flavorful, attentive service and super clean place.

Had lunch at Goldfinch in Marion today and it was fantastic. The burger was hands down one of the best in the area. My fiancé loved her salad and soup. She also tried one of the Christmas drinks which came in a cute themed mug. Oliver took great care of us and made the experience even better. Fast service, high-quality meals, and a really welcoming spot. Perfect for lunch if you are in the area. Highly recommend.

Brisket stroganoff, I’m usually leery about crossing these two ideas but they made it delicious. Full plate of perfectly cook noodles, mushrooms and fall apart Brisket on top.
French onion burger with a side of fries. Burger was really good sized, soft bun, dipping sauce that wasn’t even needed. Side of what look like hand cut fries. Fries had a solid crunch with a soft middle, not overly salty.
As for the atmosphere, the entire place was decorated in a Christmas theme, really nice touch.
Prices were good, you’re getting decent quality for what you’re buying. Overall….We be going back.

We had our rehearsal dinner at Goldfinch, and it was absolutely perfect. The team, especially Ashley and Taylor, were so flexible and easy to communicate with. They made planning simple and stress-free. They were super fun the day of too! The food was fantastic, and our guests couldn’t stop talking about how much they enjoyed everything. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and it was the perfect start to our wedding

First time trying this place and was disappointed. Iowa is known for their pork tenderloins and if one is going to be on the menu I expect it to be bigger and more flavorful than what this place offered. Besides lacking any perceptible flavor, all I could taste was my burnt bun. I’m not talking about a toasted bun, but a burnt bun. The tenderloin was thin and not very big. The coleslaw was soupy and the entire place was decorated like a little girl’s birthday party with cardboard cutouts of Disney princesses. While the wait staff was friendly, it was terribly slow.

We arrived for a late lunch a week or so before Christmas to find the Goldfinch Tap decorated to the hilt in Holiday fare. My wife selected the pick three which included a Wedge Salad, Soup and Meatloaf melt. I ordered the Cubanni with Tots on the side. Food choices were excellent and plentiful. Half of the Cubanni and almost all the Meatloaf was taken home. Great value for the portion size and quality. Highly recommended.
