Best Chinese restaurant in Malta!
Been here under various occasions over different trips to Malta. I found out the waitresses are the same, well trained and very attentive. The decor is quite tasteful as well, and the food is amazing. Also, great value for money, as the prices and amount of food are very well balanced.

An absolutely exceptional dining experience at Golden Wok in Sliema!
From the very first bite of the starters, we knew we were in for something special. Every dish was beautifully presented, fresh, and full of flavour. The seabass was cooked to perfection – delicate, tender and incredibly well balanced in seasoning. The duck was equally outstanding: crispy on the outside, succulent on the inside, and simply unforgettable.
Honestly, everything we tried was to die for. The quality of ingredients, attention to detail, and consistency across all courses truly stood out. The service was attentive and welcoming, making the whole experience even more enjoyable.
If you’re looking for refined cuisine in Malta, Golden Wok is a must-visit. We will definitely be back!

We were really craving Chinese food and found this restaurant because it had good ratings and was very close to us, so we decided to give it a try.
Unfortunately, the food did not meet our expectations at all. I ordered the sweet and sour chicken, but it came with a sauce I honestly couldn’t identify — it felt more like some kind of juice poured over the dish. The texture and flavor were off, and it was very hard to eat.
The other dish was a fried pork option that looked great in the photos, but in reality it barely had any pork and was mostly crust. Both dishes had very few vegetables and were covered in an odd, artificial-tasting sauce that reminded us more of cranberry or orange juice than anything you’d expect from Chinese cuisine.
We also tried the spring rolls, which were really bad. The sauce was extremely overpowering and had a very strange taste that completely ruined the dish. The steamed dumplings were another disappointment — very, very dry, and they honestly felt like something bought from a store and just microwaved.
Ironically, the best part of the meal was the plain rice — which says a lot.
We were quite surprised by the high ratings, but based on our experience, this is not a place we would return to.

Wow, wow, wow! I’ve been living in Malta for a while, and recently a friend introduced me to Golden Wok. The food is absolutely incredible — the flavours are simply out of this world! I go there quite often now. The dishes come out hot straight from the kitchen, oh la la — perfectly seasoned and full of taste. We ordered the spicy crab and the fish soup. The fish soup had mushrooms be mindful of that. Spicy crab was delicious.
Staff sadly forgot our food (many orders bc of christmas) so we had to complain but besides that they were polite and respectful.

There were very few people in the restaurant whether this a lunch time thing I don’t know so there was little atmosphere. Overall the food was OK nothing particularly outstanding.
