Golden wok used to be on the main Street in wiscasset Maine. And they, I thought, went out of business, but what they actually did was move to waldoboro across from Moody’s diner. Very excited to find them today. The food is so delicious, steaming when it comes out of the kitchen, lots of food on your plate. The service is absolutely wonderful, very attentive. They have a buffet 3 days a week, I don’t believe they’re open on Mondays. I would recommend the Golden wok Chinese restaurant to everybody if you like really good Chinese food.

They have the best chicken wings ever… That being said anything seafood is hit or miss. I ordered Seafood lomein, my dog is literally not eating the scallops or sealegs, I don’t blame her they are mushy and fishy smelling. The veggies are perfect just not prepped like 4 inch broccoli trees and whole leaves of box Choi or whatever that white leaf looking thing is. There food is basically inedible, my dog won’t touch it now I have to clean my floor because the dog didn’t eat it.

I’ve tried this place multiple times usually leaving with the feeling of shame and disappointment. Shame for the fact that I have given my money multiple times for poor customer service, long wait times and inconsistent food quality. My dissappointment

Last minute lunch find. The food was fresh and delicious. The staff was very friendly and we will definitely stop again when we are in the area.
