The Golden Wok is the kind of place you WALK in hungry and leave satisfied after doing battle with an angry pile of General Tso’s chicken. The egg rolls? Crispy perfection, like they’d been deep-fried by a wise old monk that lived in the mountains. The sweet and sour pork was so good I almost forgave it for not being authentically Chinese. My fortune cookie told me, ‘You will find happiness in small things,’ and I did—those little soy sauce packets are life. -1 because i never did see a golden wok. I was slightly disappointed after getting my kids all excited to actually see a real golden wok. Alas… Nevermore

They wanted my family to eat trash for dinner. I am insulted that the woman who cooked this food knowingly sold it to me.
When I called to complain she said, “Oh yeah. We are having a problem with our noodle company.”

MUSH not food — major disappointment. We ordered TWO Beef Ho Fun (large flat noodles) and it was all MUSH not one recognizable noodle.
Well, here’s the pictures of slimy mush that was supposed to be noodles –SEE PHOTOS– Only 5 minutes after bringing it home. My $25 “cash only” wasted!

They now have an ATM inside the restaurant. I get takeout from here for lunch once a week and it’s always great. Very consistent quality and portions, never disappointed. The Kung Pao chicken is awesome. Everything is fresh, cooked perfectly and very flavorful. Very nice staff and fairly priced menu. 90% of people rudely leaving a one star review are doing so because they don’t accept credit cards? Get over it, cash is king and this place is EXCELLENT

Hunan beef was good, just a little light on the spiciness. Szechuan Beef combination was great too, just needs some more spice. Overall, good quality, good price. Cash only.

Great food. Hard to find a decent chinese place around anymore. Been by this one many times but never stopped in. Got a chance to stop and food was great. Freshly made and the general tsos was super crispy. We will be back.

I ordered pork Mei fun. I’ve been eating it for 30 years. My mother is native to Japan. Usually go to boardman but didn’t want to drive so ordered from golden wok instead. Mei fun is served as rice noodle with cabbage. They served me angel hair spaghetti with lettuce. Theres like 5 teeny slivers of pork on it…Took my order over phone but now No one is answering. Best food in town along with Rspot Soul food. I am convinced that these people have crafted the art of cuisine. Everything on their menu is always hot, fresh, and most importantly delicious…..EVERY time. I am so elates to find them as they really remind me of good home soul cooked meals. Thx Golden Wok!!!
