The Bun: Super soft Doesn’t absorb the sauces.
The fixin’s: Made it just like I like it, ketchup and pickles. Pickles were not wimpy. They were pretty big and tangy.
The meat: tastes the way you would expect. Doesn’t absorb the sauce which is important. Honestly, I need my dad to take me back because it’s the best burger I’ve ever eaten.

Family owned, friendly service, fast for food made to order (fast than most chains honestly), and the food is GOOD! You can see the seasoning on the patty and the ranch (the make or break of a good fast food joint) is so good. Sweet potato fries were bomb come with the option of marshmallow sauce 🙂

I have been going to Golden Wheel since the 90’s. My brother, neighbor and I would walk there to get custom Milkshakes. Peanut butter banana was my favorite. As an Idaho native, I can tell you Golden Wheel is better than Wheelers in Nampa! (My grandmother would disagree but she went to Wheelers as a kid.) Golden Wheel is better than anything you’ll get from a McDonald’s or Jack in the box and even more affordable. Absolute local treasure and I’m so glad they reopened. I tell everyone about them and my coworker just came back with Golden Wheel for the second time! He said he was surprised at how good the burger was and was trying a chicken sandwich. I’m upset he didn’t tell me he was going, I would have had him pick me up some things! I always get a corn dog too, their chili dogs are great, my grandmother often got a hot dog or grilled tuna sandwich. Then wanted a bite of my burger! Golden Wheel really has been an amazing spot for decades. I absolutely love that place.

Good drive in food. Huge tub of delicious fry sauce. Filet o fish is a square patty and steps above mcdonalds with pickles and lettuce. Fries are crinkle cut and hot n crispy. Yum. For me it was almost too much food for lunchtime meal. Good value.

In my opinion the best hamburger I have ever had at a fastfood restaurant. Actually better then some high dollar hamburgers. The staff is very customer friendly. The prices are fare. I take my out of state visitors there and they love it. Will continue to support such a great restaurant. ❤️
