We drove out from Rexburg and spent the day at Craters of the Moon national monument. By 3 o’clock we had worked up an appetite and went for a late lunch. We googled a few restaurants in Arco and landed here. For a tiny little town, we were so impressed with this place! The food was great! Not greasy in the slightest. The service was also good. Everyone enjoyed what they ordered, and our son and his wife who currently live in Rexburg said they would for sure go back. The ranch was super yummy and the chicken strips? So good!!

I ordered a 1/3 lb pepper jack burger with bacon and French fries. I asked for it to be cooked medium well and it was cooked perfectly. It was juicy, but still cooked well and not too bloody. The fries were good firm and crunchy. I am giving it 5 stars because of the quality of the food and nich was just as good if not better than 5 guys which is somewhere I eat frequently and it was cheaper than five guys for what I got. One issue was the bathroom which had a dysfunctional soap dispenser. Hopefully they fix it, but I am willing to overlook it because the food was so unexpectedly good.

Pickles place was full so we came here. The food was much better here at Golden West than at Pickles! The staff was amazingly friendly. They went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of. All in all this was a better experience than Pickles.

The clam chowder and cod & fries we’d were excellent. Our server, Elisa, on her own initiative, got the kitchen to portion out separately our sharing of the cod & fries. There were choices of ketchup, thousand island & mustard for our cod & fries besides the tartar. Another lady & Elisa checked in with us also while we were having our meal, good service. Iced tea was refillable

The food wasn’t great but it wasn’t bad either. The fries were dry and felt like paper. The waitress forgot to put napkins and utensils.

Stopped in off the road to read the map, had my window rolled down and smelled something good cooking…noticed this cafe right next to us and being a foodie for mom and pop diners I decided to give it a try. I placed a to-go order for 2 french dips with f.f the lady who took my order was very friendly. Typically their french dips come with just the meat and bread dipped in Au Ju, however I added swiss cheese, grilled onions and mushrooms. They were delicious! The Au Ju was prefect. The f.f. were slightly crispy as they should be and the beef of the french dip was plentiful and lean. Very happy with our food and experience all around. A must stop on your travels.

If you want an amazing mom and Pop style American fair restaurant this is it. We were passing through here on our way up to crater of the moon and they had amazing food. It was quiet. We were the only ones in the restaurant and yet we were very surprised by how good everything was. Clearly, a small town hidden secret. We ordered their chicken fried steak and it was amazing with their scones. Also, their soup of the day was top-notch.

Delicious food! We stopped for dinner on a road trip. The hot beef with mashed potatoes was amazing. Prompt service, and a very clean restaurant. My son had the corn dog and fries – also delicious.
