Very, very friendly people. You may have to repeat yourself several times when asking about specific food on the menu; however, the food is absolutely outstanding if you’re in the mood for a little Chinese. The wonton soup was my favorite!

We went looking for Chinese food on Christmas day (I know, how cliche’), and thought we found a pretty good one based on reviews. However, I failed to consider how small and rural the town was, and how that might affect reviews. After all, if you don’t know really good food because you don’t get out much, you might think something is great because you have nothing to compare it to. That being said, the food here was pretty bad. I got sesame chicken, which typically has some sauce or a coating on it, but this was just deep fried dry chicken. The egg roll had some stringy cabbage in it and nothing else. The fried rice wasn’t even good, which is a pretty straightforward dish. I threw most of it away, which was a shame, because the portions are HUGE. The restaurant itself is screaming for some cleaning and maintenance. Would never go back even if I lived in that area.

So the price is going to look expensive until you get your food and then you will be more than pleased with all of it. The food was awesome and the amount of food is even better. We ate for two days on what we would have only had one meal at any other place. Will stop and get some food again anytime we are in that area.

The first time I came I came here, I got dumplings and the dumplings weren’t bad but the sauce was very watery and didn’t stick to the dumplings at all. Not a big deal i thought, maybe they just have a few not so great things on their menu. So today I tried the Honey chicken combination platter. I never complain at restaurants but this was… something else. I couldn’t swallow it. I knew when i opened the box that something was off. I had to spit it out, it tasted spoiled and sour. I brought it back and asked for something else and she said “no people tell me all the time the chicken is really good. I made sure you want honey chicken you said yes this is honey chicken.” I told her yes I understand this is honey chicken but something is wrong with it I think it might be spoiled. Asked her again if I could please just have something else I can’t eat that. No refund, no replacement. Please do not waste your money on the honey chicken. Also note that the cashier will pretend not to understand what you’re saying when you ask for a refund.

The Shrimp egg foo young was delicious and so was the chicken wings. I have been here several times since my first review!! All I can say is the food gets better and better. I have not order nothing I didn’t enjoy. I drive from Olar, to get their food. They are the best Chinese food in the area!!!
