I’ve been here plenty times before. But after the most recent food poisoning I refuse to go back here EVER again. I had ordered a sweat and sour chicken but it seems like all I got was a tiny piece of dried up chick with fluffy breading absorbed with lots and lots of vegetable oil. After eating “chicken” after “chicken” hoping there was a least one chicken not dried up and kept getting nauseous and sick. I could not even finish my food. I had to throw it away. What a waste too because I paid $50 dollars for the whole family and they were dissatisfied with their food too. The next day I was in so much pain and was toilet bound for the entire day. I could not eat or drink anything. At some point I suffered from dehydration and my entire body temperature dropped and I was freezing on a nice warm day. I think I was wrapped in a blanket for a good hour straight trying not to freeze. The terror dwindled down towards the end of the day but even the next day my body was weak trying to recover. Took about two to three days to recover fully from what ever it was I had just experienced. A flu is a walk in the park compared to that. Hell I had to drive somewhere and because I was so distracted by the pain I ended up getting into an accident in the parking lot. Yes this is my fault but I’ll give Golden Top partial blame. Lesson is don’t eat Golden Top and drive or you will get into an accident. Or better yet just DON’T eat Golden Top period.

Under new ownership and boy can you tell… “Golden Top” with a Thai / Chinese Fusion??? I know that’s what I thought but the food was great GREAT!!! and the restaurant had such a wonderful family atmosphere. A lady who seemed to be the owner’s wife was so attentive. I got the feeling that she honestly wanted to cater to our every need. A must try. Recommended by me 😉

This was pretty crappy food. Mushy egg rolls with fried onions inside. Never heard of such blasphemy in my life. The Chicken and Broc was average at best. Come to dc and get some real chinese food.

This place is terrible the food is tasteless and stale i made a large order for delivery my order was completely botched up which we kind of worked around and basically delt with it but when something was missing i got angry and called back and explained that something was missing the guy on the phone was rude and wouldnt let me talk all he kept saying was i didnt charge you for it and i told him ofcourse you didnt give it to me the short of the long is that i was like you know what i will just come pick it up when i got there i was not even aknoleged even tho i was the only one there then when i spoke up and stated why i was there the man threw the order on the counter and said nothing and i i had a woosaah moment and calmly asked how much and in a very nasty tone he said no charge at this point i said i will let this go and as i walke out it got to me and i turned around and went back and i let him know i didnt like his tone with me and he blew up on me and i asked what his problem was i made an order he messed it up and like and idiot i was just dealing with it when i should have had them come back and pick the food up and have them refund my money so why do you have an attitude with me remember im the customer then he tried to get in my face and honestly i was hoping to god he hit me then i guess his mother or who ever the old chinease lady was noticed how my whole attitude and stance changed and noticed i was waiting for the green light and started pushing him away and asking me to leave and i said sure but you cant have this guy out here talking to customers that way and he starts barking at me like a little dog i couldnt even understand what he was saying and i thaught to my self if he is really that mad all it took to hold him back was a 90 pound old lady .so fast forward i go home and i start eating my food not the one i went to pick up lol i threw that in the trash who knows what they did to it and everything is bad and i turn to my family and asked how there food was and they all said terrible they didnt even finish and to top it all off when i pull one of the containers out of the back it had a smashed ROACH on the bottom of it . At this point i decided to let this go because if i went back or called them who know what would have happened so overall the food sucks the service sucks and the place is dirty and apparently it looks like they have an insect proble so i would highly not recommed this to anyone
