Always happy with the quality and amount of food I get from here, definitely my “go to” Chinese in Elgin. Remember spend over £40, you get a free dish and cash only.
Food ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Positives ✅✅✅
– Quarter Duck: not a cheap dish anywhere, but you clearly get what you pay for. The quality of food is excellent, not fatty and the hoisin source is tasty and thick
– Mixed starter: nice selection of ribs, pawn toast, chicken, spring rolls and crispy seaweed, good portion and filling
– Chicken in Black Bean Source: great quality, good portion, thick source and plenty of meat and veg
– Sweet and Sour Chicken Balls: very crispy and good quality chicken, always too many, therefore good value for money.
– Salt and Chilli Chicken: fist time I ordered this and I really enjoyed it, I would definitely order it again, quite spicy, stomach hurting this morning, but would recommend
– Fried Rice: typical fried rice, nice and tasty, plentiful portion not overly greasy and complement the main meal
Negative ❌❌❌
– Pawn Crackers: the only negative of the meal, very thin and normally there are lots of broken ones in the pack, further more they just desintigrate when I dip them in the source. However, don’t think this warrants a star being removed, it’s small in comparison and they are free.
Service ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
– Normal waiting time for a collection is 15-20 minutes (can’t comment on delivery as I have never used it)
– CASH ONLY don’t get caught out
Cost ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
– Seriously cannot grumble, good value, just remember above £40 gets you a free meal

Honestly couldn’t recommend here enough. It’s brilliant never had a bad meal. Always on time, always hot and always bloody good. Reasonably priced and always have enough for left overs deffo 10/10

Eadable only if you are starving and drunk. Beef didn’t smell or taste right, even in the curry! 6 small prawns in the tab of curry with the rest being onion and mushroom! Not recommend!

First time eating here, but will definitely do so again! China Munchy Box is good, but this is better and the food came much quicker. Only drawback is that they do not have an online ordering system and they only take cash.

Food was deliscus, i have to say there vegetarian spring rolls we’re the best I’ve ever tasted and all was reasonably price.
I will say one thing!
there’s no online menu so you have to order blind, but it never did me any harm

The food is typical from what you would expect from a Chinese and is always tasty and hot.
Can be annoying trying to get through during peak times.
Personally I dislike it when takeaway shops ask for cash only as that makes me wary and especially these days when I don’t tend to carry cash on most occasions.
