My father would take me here as a kid and now I’m an adult and I come here and it’s phenomenal! The owners are very kind and the food is great ! I always love coming here !

I have been eating this Chinese food since I was a child. Started with Golden Lights, now moved to Golden Sea. This food is comfort for me. It’s usually really good. Have the occasional disappointing meal but usually very consistent. The owners and employees are always friendly and recognize the regulars. Will eat here until the day they close.

Horrible food. Only went there because my usual place was closed.

Very fast from time of order to leaving with my food! Egg rolls were hot but heavy on vegetables with little if any of meat or seafood. The shrimp toast was excellent golden brown and crisp on the outside, tasty and moist inside with a decent amount of shrimp. The sweet & sour was excellent and spicy but not too spicy. The General Tso’s chicken, contained large pieces of perfectly breaded and seasoned chicken, but the sauce was watery and week tasting. Same with the Scallops in garlic sauce, very watery, no body to it with little taste other than spicy. Overall, dinner was ok, but not at the top of my list to order from again.

Ordered the only size General Tso chicken they had, a LARGE size by her definition…which it wasn’t, was subpar…very very avg, was way too soggy from all the almost soup like stuff that was in there. The lo mein could have been better if they didn’t destroy it by drowning it in soy sauce, that’s all I could taste. This restaurant and the other Chinese food places around blue bell are horrendous….first and last time I’m ordering from here

I’m sorry I really wanted to like you guys. You were very nice when I walked in and the place was cute. I paid 16 dollars for general tso, this picture is after eating about 4 pieces. The peices were huge and that’s not a good thing. They should be more one bite size. The larger peices were chewy and a few smaller peices were squishy and a little pink. I stopped after eating some because it was grossing me out. Sauce was thin and bland. I hope their other food is good because they seem like nice people. Just don’t get the general tsos. I’m super bummed out because the other reviews said it was the best.

For almost 20 years I have been eating here. The food and service has always been good. Yesterday it was terrible! The shrimp with snow peas was very dry and the pork fried rice was burnt. When I called they said, “please call tomorrow when the owner is here”. When I called today, all they did was tell me how good they are and kept saying “bring it back so I can show the chef”. Not happening! So disappointing. They are a bit expensive so I think I need a new place to buy Chinese food!

Always a favorite. We compared all Chinese food to them and others always came up short. Unfortunately this time ( first time) the food was barely average. The brown rice was mushy. The wantons had no flavor. My main course was flavorless as well. I was disappointed in the dinner.

Used to be our favorite place for Chinese now they are not open for eat in service which is carrying it too far now. So we got takeout fried dumplings were hard as a rock and the crispy noodles were in a bag so small , why bother and we got a container of duck sauce smaller than a shot glass and no packages the main meal was ok but I’m afraid jack has lost a good customer. Either open up for business or just close down.

The food was not like it use to, they charge for everything, this is the first Chinese restaurant I went to that does not sell white rice and Chicken together, I ask for that specific and was told i of to order separately because its a separate charge for the white rice and a separate charge for the chicken wings.
