I ordered two burritos with no eggs extra hash browns, I paid 15.04 and was given no receipt, this was my first time ever at golden Pride and ever and it was super freaking busy, I was very hopeful and you can call me gluttonous if you want, but I paid $15 for a burrito that wasn’t even rolled correctly. There was definitely not extra hash brown. The only thing I can definitely say is their tortillas are very good. That’s why I gave it. The stars that I did. Maybe the red chili is better but I’m not sure I’d try this place again and maybe it’s just this location, but husband even complained and he never does he eats anything he just couldn’t get over the size and price, and mess I know things are expensive but I paid extra or what I assume is extra for hash browns?

I’ve been coming to Golden pride for two decades now. I remember in high school the burritos used to be pretty big. Nice bang for your buck. Not only have the prices skyrocketed since then which is understandable, but the size of the burritos keep shrinking. This is the third time in a row that I’ve got on a tiny little burrito. They make plenty of money there’s no reason to make their burritos so small. My hands aren’t big either. This is around 3 bites for me.
It’s sad to see and iconic business slowly fall into decline. Looks like I’ll be going to Blake’s where they actually give you a consistently Big burrito from now on.

The breakfast burritos are terrible lately. Idk if they have a new cook but I come every morning at 6am and the burritos used to be full of each ingredient. I order the #8 bacon, egg, hashbrown, cheese and they hardly give any hashbrowns, its like im just eating a bacon and cheese burrito. So disappointing. I don’t think I will come here anymore after receiving my breakfast “bacon and cheese” burrito! Its got more cheese than hashbrown and eggs!

Local favorite for breakfast burritos. True Burquenos know their favorite by number. Mine is Number 9, and like the Beetles song, I have that phrase on repeat. They are also locally famous for their sweet rolls.
Pride also does a great job with drive through BBQ. They have an indoors sit down area. I would rate it appropriately meh. Perfect for what it is. For a better sit down experience and a bigger menu, go to Golden’s partner, the Frontier Restaurant near the university.

I came here after work to treat myself to some delicious food, I ordered the four piece BBQ plate, a number 11 breakfast burrito (The best) and a chicken sandwich with two whole jalapeños, the younger woman cashier with braces, absolutely cracked me up, I pull up to the window and handed her a 10 dollar bill and my debit card to pay, she looked at me unsure if she would be able to do that, I told her “If you can’t do a partial cash and debit card payment, it’s fine just put it all on the card “ for the next 5 to 10 minutes she’s standing at her cashier saying to herself “I hate my life” she finally returns and says. “Sorry I couldn’t figure it out “ I tell her that’s fine no worries, she literally made my night, I was cracking up all the way home, she deserves a raise! The food was fantastic as well, 5 stars!

Talk about a unique and famous eatery in Albuquerque! The new ER at the UNM Hospital is catty corner across University & Lomas making this walking distance from all that and the south campus. The menu is carefully limited to those standards (foods and quality) they’ve delivered upon for many years. Look this on up to see if it’s in your zone – if so, you ought to go.

The food is really tasty and an incredible value. The pieces took me back to the 1990s! Breakfast burritos were a little small, so consider getting more than one. The soda machine with all the coke flavors is an excellent touch.

We wanted to have a sit down meal inside but the lobby was closed, short on labor. That was ok with us. We drove up and ordered our meal. We chose the 6 pack of tacos, kids drum stick with fries and cinnamon roll.
The fries were cold and the taco meat was missing Taco seasoning. ☹️ The one on Juan Tabo had amazing tacos

Hadn’t had in a while and still as great as I remember. Left to San Diego and anytime I come to visit family, this is the best breakfast burrito and sweet roll you can get any time of the day. I get carne adovada burrito with egg and green chili. Then number 11 sub Christmas and warmed sweet roll. For 15 years that’s been my order and it HASNT CHANGED! If have a chance, please don’t miss out. This location or Juan tabo location.
