The kind owners, the special history behind Golden Pig’s origin, and the food are all 10/10!
We were warmly greeted as soon as we stepped into the most homey restaurant I’ve ever been to—it felt like walking into a friend’s home. Everything was delicious, but my personal favorites were the kimchi, man-du dumplings, and my jap chae noodles! The meats and veggies were cooked to perfection and their sauces were all incredible.
No matter the distance you are from Golden Pig, trust me when I say it is worth the visit. One time and we’re hooked—I cannot wait to come back!

Close to where my clinical is this term, and I always wanted to try it. I’m so glad I did! The mandu and ramen were comforting and snuggly. The marinated beef came with rice and a spicy slaw that was wonderful. Such a hidden gem thank you

As a Chinese student studying in Pittsburgh, I sometimes miss the strong and authentic flavors of Asian food. A Korean classmate recommended Golden Pig to me, and I am so grateful. This restaurant is truly a hidden treasure.
The food here is excellent. We ordered the kimchi stew and the beef bulgogi. The kimchi had a perfect, deep fermented flavor that was both spicy and refreshing, very similar to what I have tried in Korea. The bulgogi was tender and not too sweet, which I appreciate. The portion of side dishes was generous, and the spinach and bean sprouts were particularly delicious. It felt very authentic and satisfying.
The environment is simple, clean, and quiet, which is good for a relaxed meal with friends. The elderly owner couple is very warm. When they saw we were students, they gave us an extra side dish and asked us if the food was to our liking.
Although the location is a bit far from Pittsburgh. The food quality is definitely worth the trip.

Genuine high quality Korean restaurant. You can feel great atmosphere and feel at ease to fully enjoy the real Koran cuisine. I picked Korean pancake with Kimuchi and Kimuchi pork fried rice, which were both bit spicy and wonderful. You can of course take the leftovers home.

Had an excellent meal here! Next time you find yourself in Cecil, don’t be afraid to stop in for some amazing authentic Korean food.
The place is truly microscopic, there is one table and a corner “bar” with a few wobbly stools. The food is excellent though. There is this amazing pepper sauce in a little jar on the table for use.

An amazing hidden gem in Cecil. Well worth the hour-long drive because the food is so good. I highly recommend the bulgogi (beef). It’s so tender and deliciously marinated in a savory broth that’s sweetened naturally with vegetables. The staff is also very friendly and nice. This is THE place to get good Korean food

Love it here! Only my second visit, but definitely plan to come back, need to try everything! The Bulgogi was great, a little more on the sweet side. The Buldak chicken sauce is so delicious and packs some heat. My girlfriend likes the Dak Bo Kum a lot. I was very surprised by how good the cold spicy cucumber salad was. When i was just in there, i saw them cooking some dumplings, i gotta try that next. Highly recommended!
