I was pleasantly surprised with the food. The fried rice is excellent. It has a lot of flavour and and a nice texture. I really enjoyed their sweet and sour sauce but it’s a bit runny and the chop suey had a lot of meat and the vegetables were well cooked and still crisp. I would definitely order from here again

That ras was NOT worth $20 period. Im literally gonna just go to panda express next time, at least they have full vegetables in their general tso’s. This was just breaded chicken covered in weak sauce.

This has been a family favorite for years. I hope today’s experience is a one off bad night. The pot stickers which are usually better than anywhere were literally rotten inside. It smelled like old cabbage inside. So that was a waste of money since I had to throw them away. I hope I’m not sick tomorrow. The almond fried chicken was dried out. The chow mein was good, but not as good as usual. The beef fried rice was really good. Not sure when we will try again.

Food was great and the cook was fantastic. Took family from out of state to eat but wanted to leave after all our shoes were sticking like glue to the floor. All the tables were so sticky I jokingly wrote my name in the filth. My paper napkins stuck to the table also. After leaving we went shopping and all of our shoes were still sticking to the fred meyer floor until the filth came off. Great food but filthy inside. First time in and my last.

Confusing consistency. Sometimes the food is 5 stars and other times it’s barely 2. The first few times I ordered, the food was crispy and tender and delicious but every time since then the meat has gotten chewier and it just doesn’t taste very good. I want to keep supporting, it’s just hard to spend money on takeout right now and you want to know what you’re getting 🙁

My wife and I were hungry for some American-style Chinese food. The Lucky Chopsticks, in Maple Valley, where we live, has had some difficulty keeping the health inspectors happy. No closures, but the discrepancies were concerning. GP has a much better track record with the health inspectors.

The food was excellent, as we’d hoped, and the prices reasonable. The Chinese atmosphere is subtle, which is great. While we were there, at 1:00 on a weekday, we were the only sit-down customers, with one takeout order. One woman was operating the front of the restaurant, we could not see into the kitchen.

This was truly an American-style Chinese restaurant — chopsticks were not offered or available. That’s not bad — just an observation. Having spent considerable time in Asia (courtesy of the U.S. Navy), I understand that most Asian food is eaten more easily with chopsticks than forks. However, mastering chopsticks can be a bit challenging for some.

My only dissatisfaction was with the menu — or lack of one. This restaurant does not offer printed menus. Instead, each table has a QR code to scan, providing a link to an on-line menu. That menu is very difficult to use. Pretty much, one needs to already know what they want before they can use the menu. Wading through its structure is time-consuming and annoying. It wouldn’t be so bad if the restaurant offered complimentary Wi-Fi, but they don’t. While most people now have smart phones, not everyone can afford a plan with unlimited air time. This represents yet another instance where a business is focused on its administrative convenience, rather than the customers.

While I’m 74 years old, I’m far from being a technophobe. We have three phones with SIM cards, and a half-dozen more that we use with Wi-Fi. We have several tablets (Windows & Android), and a bunch of computers, including 4 with Windows 11. I’ve led the Technology Corner for my computer user group for several years — updating members on the latest technology trends. Having said all of that, I have a very strong preference for reading printed material that’s held in my hands.

The owner(s) would be wise to offer current printed menus (perhaps disposable ones) for those of us who embrace technology, but only when it offers an advantage to the consumer. I’ve not decided if I will return to this restaurant.

A small sign next to the QR code states a preference for paying with cash, though credit cards are accepted. There is no mention of a surcharge with plastic. I paid with “pictures of dead presidents”, as my silent protest against greedy banks.

I wish I could be exaggerating when I say this but today was the THIRD time I have come here and they were closed when their website and the sign on their door say they open at 11:30. My husband even called the last time to confirm when they open and they said they open at 11:30 but we were literally standing outside their restaurant at 11:45 and it was closed. I’m so irritated about this place because I tried to come here on my lunch 3 times and they’ve been closed each time, wasting the limited time I have during my work lunch. I can’t even rate their food because I won’t ever get the chance to try it lol. Neither will you if you come here, they’ll like be closed LOL. Don’t waste your time.

This is my favourite Chinese restaurant in all of Washington state. The interior is clean, The menu is filled with very nice choices. The service is excellent. The quality and taste of the food is unequaled in the area. The prices are quite modest. I wholly recommend this restaurant for eating at or take out.
