We went there, all excited after reading all the good reviews, but was disappointed by the overall experience. The highlight of the meal was supposed to have been the Lobster Eefu Noodles but it was not up to our expectation. The dish was already cold when served. The noodles lacked the umami taste and was so bland overall. The tofu dish and the XO pipis (lacked XO sauce) were also bland. The only satisfactory dish was the Emperor chicken. Everything was cold when served. They felt like they had been sitting on the kitchen counter for a while. There was no “wok hei” in any of the dishes; nor were they seasoned well. Truly a disappointingly lackluster meal.

Golden Oceans Chinese Seafood Restaurant was a fantastic experience. The atmosphere is lively and welcoming, with a great traditional seafood restaurant feel that makes it perfect for groups or family dinners. The waitresses were very friendly, attentive, and made sure everything ran smoothly throughout the meal.
The food was excellent — fresh, full of flavour, and beautifully cooked. The seafood was especially impressive and the portions were generous. Overall a great place with amazing food, great service, and a really enjoyable atmosphere. Highly recommend!

A Chinese restaurant focused on Cantonese cuisine located within the eating district of Beverley Hills. The restaurant has some good value meals and is opened to late. The lobster and pipis were fresh and cooked well. The free range chicken was also tender. Service is attentive and staff advised when they felt we ordered too much. There is also complimentary fruit and dessert at the end. Will be back!

Delicious authentic Cantonese cuisine, generous portions and good value for money with their many cash-only meal deals. The free range chicken dish is really good, while other dishes are at least decent.
Service can be better as some waitresses looked un-interested, and one time, they forgot to serve the lobster (the focal point of the entire meal) and ended up serving it last after I asked the waitress to check the order.
Seating is pretty tight and you may find waiters navigating narrow corridors between seats carrying giant plates of food.

One of your typical Chinese seafood restaurants. The food here is generally pretty good and decent value.
The pipis here was pretty good but I really liked the free range chicken a lot. The scallions ginger oil goes great with this dish but just remember it’s a dish served cold.
There’s a couple of parking lots in Beverly Hills otherwise Street parking on the main road after 6pm I think.

We are customers travelling from Canberra, and every time we come to Sydney for authentic Cantonese food, Wen Hing Seafood Restaurant is always our first stop. The dishes are full of flavour, made with real quality ingredients, and the prices are very reasonable — you can literally order anything with confidence and it won’t disappoint.
The owner, Wing, is a man of few words but extremely genuine and detail-focused. Even when the restaurant is busy (which is almost every time we visit), he still manages to look after us. There were times when we dined with friends, had a great time, and Wing even came over to have a drink with us — sometimes bringing out his own wine to share!
Every visit has been a fantastic experience — great food, warm hospitality, and always a good time.

Medium size restaurant serving a broad range of seafood. Service is polite and prompt. Food comes quickly and is good but nothing amazing – as you’d expect. The restaurant is a bit crampt and quite loud.

Firstly, I must commend the restaurant for the delicious food. The flavors and quality of the dishes were truly nice!
However, I feel disappointment with the service during my visit. While enjoying our dinner, a waitress unexpectedly handed over new plate to change our existing plate without seeking our permission. This abrupt change left us somewhat uneasy, and I couldn’t help but wonder if this is a customary practice within the restaurant’s culture.
Towards the end of our meal another incident occurred somemore just 3 tables of customer, without any prior inquiry, another waitress combined several of our remaining dishes onto one plate. This action seemed unusual and somewhat awkward, and we were surprised by the decision without being consulted.

The quality and price of this restaurant is quite on par with the other Chinese restaurants in the area. A good place to come with family for a big meal as their portions are massive! Service is also super friendly and willing to provide suggestions when you are stuck on what meals to order.
