My order was all put together in 15 mins. I ordered online and went in to pick up, the whole process was easy and the lady who gave me my order was very kind and friendly. Unfortunately the food for me was pretty mediocre. I will say, this would be a good location to go to if you need to watch your salt intake because I noticed the food wasn’t as heavily seasoned as other Chinese food restaurants. Some of the vegetables in the chop suey weren’t cooked fully (celery and baby corn). Overall we all ate our dinner but I don’t think I’ll be back unfortunately.

Small cozy Chinese restaurant. The lady was super friendly and service was good. A nice choice of Chinese meals if you are in the neighborhood. I like spicy beef, chow mein of all sorts, and wonton soup. My family like it too. We like to visit from time to time as a little road trip from Vancouver, the neighborhood is quite and nice for a walk.

Ordered for first time on delivery, very disappointed.
Two stars were given because of good service and quick delivery.
The chicken balls were good.
Special chow mein is very bland tasting and watery.
Eggrolls are greasy as uhhh.
Do not recommend eating here at all…

As a Chinese I have high standards on Chinese food in Canada. I am once again surprised by the special fried rice and chicken chow mien today. They taste like authentic street food in China, all components are cooked right, with crispy bean sprout, soft yet dry noodles, and tender chicken, not overly greasy. I am saving all leftover for tomorrow!

We just moved around this area a couple months ago and i thought to try a new Chinese restaurant.

We ended up ordering a combo for two people. So it has chop suey, noodles, sweet and sour pork, and two fried rolls (+1 the combo was huge portion!)
The food was bland and lacked seasoning I guess (umami flavour). Thats why we added a little bit of soy sauce and black pepper. That helped a little bit

The service was okay. Good thing the lady always asked how we were doing. 🙂

I have no idea how people say this is authentic Chinese food ???? My Beef Chow fun was bland, there was no dark soy sauce and any soy sauce for the matter. The beef was so pale it could be pork!!!!! The Singapore style noodles just taste like powder curry, no seasoning. The sweet and sour pork was soggy pork . Seriously even my German bf said ,this is water down white people chinese food. Im soo disappointed. I read all the reviews and still tried it ,giving them a chance. NOPE. MY MISTAKES. NEVER AGAIN. Going to stick with my Luxe seafood restaurant from now on.

I live in cloverdale my whole life and always went to Ken’s Cafe and dragon village if I wanted chinese. So today after years I went to Golden medal to try it…. it the worse chinese food I ever had. T@T supermarket make better food. If you can’t beat even basic T@T that bad Chinese food. If you have to get Chinese in cloverdale go to Ken’s Cafe or dragon village.

Staple embedded in my food.

First and last time ordering from this restaurant. I bit into a piece of sweet and sour pork and was stabbed in the gums by a staple. All of the meat was covered in an uncooked gooey cornstarch paste. Overall rhe worst chinese take out I have ever eaten.

Terrible food. I asked to make sure curry chops suet was gluten free. They said yes it is with corn starch and I said ok that is good. They gave me powdered curry that sticks to your mouth, teeth, lips and oil. It was disgusting consistency. I called them to tell them I think they made a mistake and gave no sauce, their excuse was I wanted gluten free and no cornstarch. Wtheck I said no I said it was ok for cornstarch. So frustrating being on the go and dinner was expensive and it’s very gross. The beef and broccoli has no flavour either. I’m never going back.
