Honestly not sure how this place sits at 4.3 stars, it deserves a full 5. As a Vietnamese person, my partner and I were craving a bowl of phở while we were at Macarthur Square, so we thought we’d give Golden Lotus a try. Who knew there was such a hidden gem inside the centre?
I ordered the phở đặc biệt (special combination) and my partner got the bún bò Huế. Both were incredible. The broth was rich, clean, and full of flavour – genuinely better than a lot of spots we’ve tried in Cabra and even better than Phở An in Bankstown. The BBH was honestly arguably the best I’ve ever had.
The aunty serving us was also so lovely and warm, which made the whole experience even better. They’ve got amazing sate that’s self-serve, the avocado shake was spot on, and they even take Amex.
It’s everything you want in a Vietnamese restaurant and more. Can’t recommend this place enough – we’ll definitely be back!

I’ve been coming here for many years and this place has never disappointed me.
The menu offers a wide selection of dishes, each packed with flavour and consistently well-prepared. Easily one of if not the best Vietnamese restaurants in Campbelltown.
The staff are always quick, friendly, and welcoming, and the atmosphere makes every visit an enjoyable experience.

Golden Lotus at Macarthur Square is always a great experience and it’s my friend and I’s go-to spot. The staff are consistently welcoming, friendly, and helpful, and the atmosphere is really nice. My go-to is the Pad Thai (chicken or prawn) — always delicious, fresh, full of flavour, and a generous serving. The drinks are great too, especially the coconut juice. Highly recommend!

I have ordered online through uber eats a lot since covid. Today is the first time I’ve eaten in. Food definitely tastes better eating in, however, it’s still nice for delivery.
What I particularly loved about today’s experience was the environment and customer service. Everyone was happy, helpful and accomodating.

Came here for dinner with my husband and in-laws on a Saturday evening.
Food was great and delivered in a timely manner. (Other than the 10 minutes we waited for a simple bowl of rice)

Came in for lunch and we were greeted and shown our seats pretty much immediately.
The menu is extensive which is a given for a modern Vietnamese fusion restaurant. We kept our order as traditional Vietnamese as possible with the staples.
The Special Neef Pho, Crispy Chicken with Tomato Rice and pork spring rolls.
Bit of confusion from the staff regarding our drinks order and dipping sauce for the Spring Rolls. Though that was fixed pretty quickly.
The chicken and rice were fantastic. The added sunny side egg was a great addition. Mixing it with the Tomato Rice really elevated it. The chicken was crispy and delicious as expected.
The Pho was massive. The beef was plentiful and packing flavour. Couldn’t really fault it. For the price, the value and quality exceeded any expectations we had.
The big surprise was the Pork Spring Rolls. Each bite was like a huge hit of Umami. Hidden gem on the menu and the perfect starter/ side dish to your main meal. I highly recommend them.
Overall a great experience and will definitely come back. If you haven’t been then definitely try them, I’m sure you’ll be as pleased and surprised as we were.

Absolutely amazing place. Friendly staff who take the time out to say hi and get your order correctly. The food is amazing here and always fresh.
Best spicy beef soup in the area and the restaurant is always buzzing. The service is always great and no long waits for your order. Great variety of food to choose from with everything priced well and great serving portions. Highly recommend. Comfy atmosphere.
