My husband and I just moved to the area and we definitely found our new favorite buffet. We’re already planning on making a visit here once a week. Our son really likes the desserts too! Staff is very nice and accommodating, food is really good, and they constantly were checking to see what needed to be prepared at the buffet area. We will be back often!

One of my favorite Chinese places, if I go to Excelsior Springs I gotta have some food. I think they have some of the best hot sour soup anywhere I’ve been. They maintain their food when it’s on the buffet, the food stays properly hot.

Family was craving Chinese last night so we decided to order from Golden Leaf. We have eaten the buffet a few times since moving to the area but never had ordered pickup. Food was SO GOOD! Huge portions (kids split an order and boyfriend and I had leftovers!), hot, and made exactly how expected! Our kids devoured their order of Coconut Shrimp, and my boyfriend smashed his jalapeño chicken (all ate too fast to snap a photo). I ordered the General Tso’s Tofu with extra sauce, and subbed lo mein (pictured below). Tofu was perfectly crispy and super flavorful! I am always leery with tofu dishes as I’m particular on how it’s prepared, however will definitely be ordering from here again!

Didn’t even get to eat here.Didn’t even take a single drink of my water got one plate of food and didn’t finish, itGot up to get another plate of food for me and my son.When he went to grab a booster seat, there was a roach on it.And he was saying, there was a spider.There was a spider when I got to the table I saw it was a roach.I told my son he couldn’teat , we ended up getting up and leaving.She made us pay for the food.My son literally picked up a roach, and we didn’t eat, and he was screaming saying, i’m hungry, mommy, i’m hungry, mommy, and they still made me pay for it when my son had a touch a roach!!!!! I can’t believe she proceeded to tell me. I had to pay for the food when my son was saying he was hungry. And he had just touched a roach, and I told her it was still there.

The food was ok, prices however are quite high for the quality of food. I was surprised that 3 adults & 1 child for lunch cost $70! Not that expensive at quality buffets. The atmosphere definitely needs updated and brought into the future.
