This is a great place to grab a bite of seafood, their choices include, shrimp and chicken but mostly is seafood. I personally love halibut but there are other choices. Our food was served promptly, very fresh & hot. The portions were plentiful, my husband & I couldn’t finish our meals (2 pc pollock & chips and clubhouse with baked potato) Our server was attentive, but not intrusive.
We were very impressed with the cleanliness of everything!! The table, benches, floor and especially the clean & tidy restroom. We are looking forward to another tasty meal when visiting our family in the area.

Always a good experience at Golden Lake Seafood Restaurant on Southdale Rd at Wharncliffe Rd in London. We had a double haddock dinner with fries. Load of tartar sauce. Malt vinegar and lots of Sprite to wash it down. If your sick of pizza, burgers and chicken. Come on down to the Golden Lake Seafood Restaurant. Great food, great service and plenty of free parking. Went in right at opening time and the place was already spotless. The owner(I’m assuming) was the only one present, but he was still quick with seating us, taking our order and even cooking and delivering the food! The food was absolutely delicious as well! Will definitely be going again on the future!

First time visiting and not disappointed! We arrived right at opening and were taken care of immediately. Establishment was clean and spacious, food was fantastic and arrived quickly (I had a completely gluten free meal), and the gentleman who took care of us was friendly and courteous. Amazing experience from the time I walked in until the time I left. Opening the door to the restaurant you feel as if you are in an beach front seafood restaurant with a modern design in the entire restaurant and has ample seating for both small and large groups. Upon arrival, I was greeted by a very kind host and seated right away and given time to review the full menu with seafood and other options (burgers and chicken). I was then promptly greeted by the waiter who took the order and answered all my questions. The food came very quickly and after finishing my plate, I have to say it was the best Fish and Chips I had ever ate! I recently came back from a trip to London, England and visited some of the best Fish and Chips restaurant in the country (Poppies Fish & Chips, The Golden Chippy) and I can honestly say this was a better all around taste and experience with Golden Lakes excellent batter on the fresh Alaskan Halibut ordered. The waiter came twice and asked if we need anything else, a refill and finally thank us for the visit. I couldn’t have asked for a better all around experience. I plan on coming back and bringing a larger group to eat in again and try there breakfast menu! Great job Golden Lake Fish and Chips Team.

The fish and chip dinner was cold. It was decent tasting after it was warmed up. I did enjoy the coleslaw. The service was slow. Although to be fair there appeared to be only one staff outside of the kitchen.

Great fish, standard fresh fries, very clean tables, great onion rings.
Owner clearly takes pride in the establishment. I ate in dining room so I don’t know how take out would be, but remember, things can steam in the box, so if takeout is soggy, that’s not their fault.
