Food is good, business is good, the bathroom is clean, and this lady here was rude, but away from everything, it was good. This lady was not as polite as expected. I’ve been shopping here for a very long time now and know the owner very well, and he knows me very well. She does not represent what I know of Golden Krust very well. I was not satisfied with customer service. You’re always supposed to greet customers with a nice smile and friendly face, and she was just very cold on a hot day. I will always shop at Golden Krust; that’s my place, but I don’t appreciate this woman’s attitude.

Went there yesterday just for the oxtail and was VERY disappointed! The oxtail meat was so tough, not tender at all. No flavor, just a strong ginger taste. I couldn’t even finish my food, I ended up throwing it away. As for their customer service, it’s nonexistent! No one greets when you enter the restaurant, no one ask how can they help you, everyone just stands and stares at you. If that’s how they choose to run their business, that’s fine BUT I will be spending my hard earned money elsewhere!

Great place. I love Golden Krust ….especially their beef patties. The service was decent. We ordered curry goat and curry chicken entres, red peas soup, bun and cheese, plantain, and sodas ( ginger beer etc). They served us in a timely fashion and were polite.

This was my first visit since the renovation/move from across the street. When they were at the old location I did not like the food at all, it was bland. I had some family in town that convinced the group to come here and at first I was apprehensive but I’m glad I gave them another shot. I got stew chicken with rice and peas. They give a fair portion size and they have decent prices. The stew chicken was juicy and had a good spicy flavor to it. I did not enjoy the rice however. It tasted like parboiled rice which I don’t like and it was a bit more on the softer side almost mushy. I prefer my rice and peas to be shelly not soft. My other family members got jerk chicken. They said they enjoyed it and it was also spicy nicely seasoned. Next time I’ll try the oxtail plate or the oxtail rasta pasta which looked really good. We ate in stores and I’m glad we came at the time we did (about 2:10-2:15pm) bc right after we paid for our meals a bunch of people came and they were waiting for a really long time. As we ate it didn’t seem like the line was moving at all. At one point all of the workers went into the back and no one was serving food. I guess it’s a hit or miss if you’ll be there a while. The restaurant is clean with a decent amount of seating area both inside and outside.

As soon as we walked in we were greeted and waived to the ordering line. This place is an actual #real Jamaican food. Oxtails is a definite favorite the Mac & cheese was delicious and I certainly enjoyed the jerk goat.

I love this place. I drive 40 minutes to go to this particular location. The service is great. The food is amazing. I really love that book sometime. I just drive over there for the jerk pork and a large red bean soup which is so good all their soups are good. I eat their pretty frequentbecause it taste like New York Jamaican food to me but check them out. They are really nice people there.

Mouth watering and amazing service!!! They had so much to choose from that taste just like the islands. Superb service from the girls with a smile. This place has drinks from the islands and everything was made fresh. The jerk meat pie was flaky and tasty. The ribs were full of flavor and lots of meat. The cabbage had just enough snap and lots of flavor too. You have to try this place!

Ordered some oxtails from them on Uber Eats and was mightily impressed with how delicious everything was. The oxtails were amazing,cabbage was delisious and mac and cheese was perfect. Prices were fair and overall I highly enjoyed the experience. Highly recommended!
