My first time here, the food was exemplary! From the oxtail, jerk chicken, rock cake, even the Jamaica Cola, all of it was enjoyable! The two ladies who served me were very friendly and enthusiastic! The large size portions, for another $5, I will be having lunch tomorrow with the quanitity of food provided! I will be back!

I don’t mind eating at Golden Krust, food is good BUT THE STAFF ARE EXTREMELY RUDE, the Bronx of me comes out every time I go into this location. It’s like every single staff member is miserable to be working, not a tiny smile from no one. I politely asked if there were anymore spicy beef before I got on the line, I even excused my self from the clients that were waiting on line; I felt like I was shouted at by the staff “ Do you see any spicy here? We don’t have any right now. Come back maybe an hour” not only myself but the people on the line were also flabbergasted. Very rude staff it’s unbelievable.

Initially when this store just opened customer service was superb, now I seldom want to go there the attitude of the servers is just despicable, especially when the owner is not there. Went there to get cabbage and plantain ,she put cabbage into a soup cup and the plantain into a paper bag we asked her to put them into a serving container, she was like portion size. Manager please retrain your staff to be more accommodating like you, and be nice to their customers.

We got the Large oxtail . Very small portion for the amount of money you pay. We did not even get veggies and charged the same amount .
So sad because we love Jamaican food but we will never come back to this location !

I ordered the small oxtail meal for approximately 24.00z four piece of oxtail and a little pinky toe baby oxtail. A whole lot of rice and a little portion of cabbage. The food was delicious the portion however is something totally different. I had to wait for at least 15 minutes to place an order which is disturbing when the food is right there. Depending on what is ordered of course. It was only two people ahead of me. Other than that be prepared to wait for food that is on display right in front of your face . Two people behind the register..happy eating

i use to work at a golden krust and buy from other golden krust and i have never seen a large food looking like a lunch special. Look at what they call a large food for almost $20 each.. ridiculous!!!
come on this is not a good way to start.
i have one co-worker that spend over 400. no jerk sauce or utensil for the 15 food purchase thru grub hub.

This is the worst jamaican food I have ever tasted. As a jamaican trying this you should should be ashamed to serve such horrible food. If I could give this place minus 10 stars I would. They didn’t have dumplings, no spicy patties. The oxtail portions are ridiculously small. The chicken stew tastes like bbq sauce.
The staff are extremely rude. Would not recommend this place to Anyone

The only thing that I feel they could work on is being a little more welcoming. Maybe smile and not be so serious. Other then that the food was good and the atmosphere was pleasant.

I have had a very great experience with this particular branch!! But today im very disappointed that they sent a wrong order when in fact I ordered something different. Now I’m left to starve and they REFUSED to issue me a refund when I already complained!! I am beyond frustrated. Stay away from THIS BRANCH!! Because I ordered through uber eats they have to investigate first. Now I can’t get a refund and I can’t reorder!! Pretty horrible and waste of my money!! It’s unfair to me as a customer to go through this. Stay away stay away stay away!!

Quick note: If you are reading previous reviews please note the most recent ones, because this place has clearly had new ownership since the bad reviews from 2yrs ago. The food is tasty, and everyone was pleasant and accomadating. I Loved the oxtail and the sweet chili wings. My portions were fine, unfortunately there is never enough oxtail to me, so tasty.
In any case give these nice folks a try, go small first, grab a lunch special, see how you like it. And again clearly this is new management because I’ve come here quite a few times and never ran into anything but nice people serving delicious food.
