I waited 1 hour for my pick up order, after I was told it would be a 30min wait. After I arrived to pick up i was told all my order was ready they were just cooking one last thing. Which to me means the rest of my food will be sitting there going cold, 15 mins pass and I still hadn’t recived my order. When I approached staff and Said I had been waiting just over an hour, she checked the kitchen where she then appeared with my order. When paying, i was then informed I would be charged more then I was told over the phone due to a 2% fee. I told the Asain lady that should have been something i was made aware of over the phone Her response was “Whatever” Not good enough ! I got home 5 mins later and all my other dishes were cold with the exception of the last thing cooked. To add to that my honey chicken had more pieces of batter then chicken. I will add the young Australian girl was lovely.

I’ve always bought our Chinese food here and never had an issue. Decided to eat in tonight and was very disappointed. We arrived and were told we could sit anywhere so we sat at a table for 2. The waitress brought us menu’s and then went about whatever she was doing. I worked in a Chinese restaurant for many years so I understand having to answer phones as well as serve customers their takeaway orders. After waiting about 20 minutes a different waitress walked past us and told us she’d be with us shortly. After waiting another 15 minutes I was getting impatient considering there were only 4 other customers in the restaurant who were eating and 2 in the waiting room. Another 2 customers arrived and were seated by the waitress and told it would be a bit of a wait and then offered them drinks. By this time we’d been waiting for at least 30 minutes and hadn’t even been offered a drink so I obviously said something to which I got attitude. We then decided to leave. If a waitress can’t serve 2 people waiting in the waiting room and one table then maybe she needs to find another job.

Golden Kim dinner last night poor customer service, ordered 12 spring rolls with our main meals , unfortunately most of our spring rolls were just pastry, no filling in them whatsoever. We Asked to speak to the owner , The owner could clearly see there was absolutely nothing within the spring rolls served to our table making comments regarding her costs to make them with a piece of paper to tell that it cost her $2.50 each spring roll and she pays them $25per hour to make.
17yrs we have gone to this restaurant with many different owners the cost cutting on servings has become a major concern under this new management as our meals are 50% onion with the increase in pricing. As for price increases for meals we are not fazed we just expect the service be met accordingly.
Thank you to the staff for your understanding and fully appreciate the pressure the owner puts on you to deal with there cost cutting issues raised last night prior to the owner approaching our table.

Absolutely disgusting food I ordered a satay beef and received some kind of satay dish with prawns chicken and tiny bit of beef. The receptionist / delivery driver was absolutely wonderful and deserves a raise for having to deal with that disgusting place. When to call to provide my feedback I was told that they are ‘the best Chinese restaurant in St Mary’s’ and that I ‘don’t know Chinese food’ every single dish was disgusting and also tried to throw the poor receptionist under the bus saying she took down our order incorrectly and that was not the case because she read back our order on 3 occasions and it was correct. Disgusting food, the ‘boss’ Jenny has horrible customer services skills and I will not be returning. Putrid.

Ordered from them on 20/05/2025 and all the food but the special fried rice tasted amazing ordered like 7 different things and it was wonderful. But ordered from them again tonight and it was horrible hokkein noodles was very bland, chicken was rubbery, king prawns tasted off, honey chicken didn’t taste like honey at all was very dry, the only good thing tonight was Mongolian beef. If they’ve hired a new chef they need to bring back the other one or find a different one. Will definitely be looking for a new Chinese place.
First order was $127.50. Tonight’s order was $94 absolutely disappointed it’s just a waste of money I would like a refund but that will never happen.
