I’ll be honest and say that when my boyfriend and I decided to go here for dinner I was a little skeptical. I hadn’t heard of it before and it seemed to be located a bit off the beaten path. I looked at the menu online however and really liked the options, so we gave it go.
There was plenty of parking and a sign near the road so people don’t miss it and drive by. The inside was dark and cozy feeling, I really liked the atmosphere. We were immediately greeted and then sat at a table in the corner. Our waitress, April, was one of the nicest people and seemed so happy to be at work! She just made me smile. She was attentive and quick to come to our table to check on us. I’m not sure if he was the manager or the owner, but he also stopped in a few times to check on us.
The food was amazing. April informed us that they make everything from scratch and I felt it really showed. The grape leaves were amazing and the land and sea entree was delicious. On top of that it was so well priced! I’d highly recommend a stop in to this place to give it a try.

My wife and I ate here for the first time recently and had a very good experience. We were surprised by the atmosphere inside and only had a short wait for a table.
Once seated we were brought a small portion of bread which was very warm and soft along with dipping oil which wall filled with garlic, salt, pepper and other herbs.
We started with calamari which was very well seasoned and the peppers added a nice kick.
I ordered the pork chop which came with a side of mac and cheese – overall it was good but the mac and cheese wasn’t quite creamy enough for my liking. The chop was cooked to absolute perfect though with great grill marks.
My wife ordered chicken rigatoni which was also very good. Both dishes could have used a touch more seasoning but overall a great place to eat.

Great food. Bar seats are a little tight but amazing bartender. My boyfriend had the bacon cheeseburger and it was absolutely amazing. I have never said that about a burger before!! I had the squash involintini which was delicious as well. We order their new yorl style pizza to go the following evening! May return to night for drinks and apps

We were traveling through Hartford and found a friend we’d met in another country(!!) and ended up here, in this off the main drag, divey looking restaurant.
Pizza in so many combinations, seafood, burgers, homemade pasta! Hooray!! A little of everything on the menu.
I ordered the Pasta Carbonara, my partner decided on the Shrimp and Pasta special and our friend had the American Cheeseburger with homemade chips. The portions are decent, we made it back to the hotel with a massive amount of leftovers.
The service was good, friendly waitress. Intimate patio with a gas heater for those chilly nights is a nice perk.
If we lived around this area of the world, we would definitely revisit.

Judging by the reviews. This place has been closed for almost 3 years now. If you can only call a product new for 7 months I’m pretty sure you can’t say it’s temporarily closed for more than a year. Which is sad, I was looking forward to trying homemade food in this area. Get back to work for a five-star review

We went here on a Friday night around 6, so we expected a wait, which was fine. It took about 15-20 minutes to get a table. Once seated a waitress came over and took drink orders fairly quickly. Drinks took about 15 minutes to get, which again being a Friday with the bar being crowded wasn’t a surprise. I ordered the chicken parm which came with homemade pasta. Which once it came was very good, tender chicken, pasta was great. Prices are reasonable and good selection of different dishes. The main issue and why they lost a star is that I can understand staffing shortages and taking longer than usual (food took about an hour and a half!). However, we were not offered so much as bread while we’re were waiting, after about an hour we asked for some bread for the table and only one somewhat large roll was brought over for 5 people. I have been here once before and it was better service, so I couldn’t knock it down another star to 3. Hopefully they get things together better than that night. If it were my first experience there I may not have gone back.

Wow a real hidden gem. Our kids loved making their own pizza what a great idea. I got the pork chop it was huge and the potatoes and brussel sprouts were fresh and perfectly seasoned. The fried egg on top made the meal. We’ll be back so glad we found this place. The patio was very nice and the inside was clean and inviting.
