I’ll be honest and say that when my boyfriend and I decided to go here for dinner I was a little skeptical. I hadn’t heard of it before and it seemed to be located a bit off the beaten path. I looked at the menu online however and really liked the options, so we gave it go.

Great food. Bar seats are a little tight but amazing bartender. My boyfriend had the bacon cheeseburger and it was absolutely amazing. I have never said that about a burger before!! I had the squash involintini which was delicious as well. We order their new yorl style pizza to go the following evening! May return to night for drinks and apps

We went here on a Friday night around 6, so we expected a wait, which was fine. It took about 15-20 minutes to get a table. Once seated a waitress came over and took drink orders fairly quickly. Drinks took about 15 minutes to get, which again being a Friday with the bar being crowded wasn’t a surprise. I ordered the chicken parm which came with homemade pasta. Which once it came was very good, tender chicken, pasta was great. Prices are reasonable and good selection of different dishes. The main issue and why they lost a star is that I can understand staffing shortages and taking longer than usual (food took about an hour and a half!). However, we were not offered so much as bread while we’re were waiting, after about an hour we asked for some bread for the table and only one somewhat large roll was brought over for 5 people. I have been here once before and it was better service, so I couldn’t knock it down another star to 3. Hopefully they get things together better than that night. If it were my first experience there I may not have gone back.

First off, don’t judge a book by it’s cover completely covers this place. Outside looks like a dive bar, we almost didn’t go in. We got a recommendation to go here and try a few items so we did. It was a bit pricey, but the food was delicious. Our server, Christine, was delightful and offered us the specials for the night and it completely changed the order we were planning on making. The manager brought us our entrees and checked in on our meal, along with our server checking in. All in all, it was an amazing experience. We will definitely be back for another date night.

Wow a real hidden gem. Our kids loved making their own pizza what a great idea. I got the pork chop it was huge and the potatoes and brussel sprouts were fresh and perfectly seasoned. The fried egg on top made the meal. We’ll be back so glad we found this place. The patio was very nice and the inside was clean and inviting.

Business appeared closed down! I drove an hour or so off my planned route because I had eaten there a number of years back and the food was great and that is why I was returning. There should be something on their website to say that they are closed, etc. Golden Irene’s I did not see that you were temporarily closed, if I had I certainly wouldn’t have driven that far out of my way! I changed my review to 5 stars relating back to visit a number of years ago because when I was there the food and service were outstanding and I was expressed enough to return last week in my travels from Virginia to Maine! I can assure you when I travel here again I most certainly will stop in again!
