We were told by a friend to stick to the dumplings and egg rolls and we were not disappointed. The steamed dumplings were delicate and delicious. The fried dumplings were quite good, and are a bit unusual because they are deep-fried (not pan-fried). Portions were generous. The egg rolls were well cooked and tasty. I can’t speak for other dishes, but we’ll definitely order dumplings and egg rolls again.

Food is always good and made fresh and quickly. I really love the spring rolls. I put three stars because their is no atmosphere. You don’t dine in. The people are always kind and homey. They are a little higher in price than other places tho.

Ordered tonight at 5:15. I was told around 75-90 minutes for delivery. 2 hours later I called to check on the order and the message said they were closed. We didn’t order from anywhere else hoping they were just busy but still going to deliver. By the time we realized they weren’t coming, we ended up with no food for New Year’s Eve dinner.

Moved to East Providence and looked for a Chinese restaurant on New Year’s Eve. Tried this restaurant for delivery and was told it would be 45 minutes. Never showed up. Called to see where our order was and got the recording saying they were closed. No notification. Nice job Golden House.

I’ve been wanting to try this place for awhile because it always smells amazing when I drive past. Ordered online for pick up and it was very easy! Order was ready right on time and piping hot when I ate it at home. Got the dinner special with egg roll, hot and sour soup, fried rice, and veggie lo mein. Everything was great! Will order again.

This used to be my favorite local spot- the food used to be really good- I’m not sure if it’s under new management but the dumplings were exactly like the ones you can get frozen at the market, the ma po tofu was huge under cooked blocks of tofu and the veggies weren’t recognizable. I also got the sweet and sour chicken which was fine.
