We recently visited this location hoping for a satisfying breakfast, but my experience fell short on several levels.
Food:
• The Big Breakfast Plate ($20) arrived with less than half a cup of home fries, which was surprising given the price. Compared to

• The sausage was only cooked on one side, (refer to photos). the eggs were rubbery and lacked flavor, and the rye toast was very hard and dry.
• The pancake was stale, with a weird texture that made it difficult to eat. I took them home for the doggies. (Let’s hope they can eat )
• Overall, the meal was greasy and lacked freshness.
Service:
• Initially, we were not greeted or checked on in a timely manner, despite the restaurant not being busy.
• The servers who eventually helped us were polite and friendly, which I appreciated.
• Unfortunately, the interaction I had with the manager, Dominique, was uncomfortable and dismissive. When I asked about the portion size of the home fries, he addressed me abruptly and walked away without offering any further assistance or concern.
I also noticed that he engaged with other guests in a much friendlier, courteous manner. As the only person of color in the restaurant at the time, I couldn’t help but wonder whether this influenced the way I was treated. I’m not making assumptions, but the contrast was noticeable and disheartening.
Suggestions for Improvement:
• Providing consistent, courteous service to every guest is essential. Training in customer relations and sensitivity could be beneficial for management.
• Checking in to ensure meals meet expectations and that concerns are heard would go a long way.
• Reviewing portion sizes is consistent , and freshness would improve the dining experience.
I’ve read similar reviews about this location, and my experience, unfortunately, aligns with them. While the servers were friendly, the manager’s lack of professionalism overshadowed the visit.
I hope this feedback helps inspire positive changes for future guests. Until then, I would recommend exploring other breakfast options in the area.
The eggs were waterlogged. Tried to take a picture to demonstrate this. I even came back for a second helping of eggs because I saw new eggs come out. They just threw them in with the old ones…
Judging from what I’ve seen the breakfast sausage were overcooked on both sides making them hard on the sides they were cooked on an undercooked on the side they did not flip onto. Chef has lost their passion…
I also tried to take a picture to show the amount of grease sitting in the trays. No attempt to remove this grease was made. I literally got near the end of my meal and felt as though it was pooling in my stomach and had diarrhea before finishing.
The potato wedges were overcooked to the point they were too crispy to be eaten! Sounds like it wouldn’t be a thing. Too crispy! Take a look at the picture and you will see.
They have a nice little assortment of prepackaged desert items but they are stale because of being left out on the counter.
I have no idea how the regular menu items are I have seen some good reviews. The buffet is not worth the price.
The saving grace were the fluffy eggs, bacon and candied apples. Even the jams tasted funny. Coffee was absolutely stale and tasteless.
Fresh fruits and whipped cream, butter tarts were good.
She’s very nice, friendly and she laughed right along with us at the jokes being told at the table.

We ordered the Countryman’s breakfast, the peameal breakfast, BLT sandwiches and fries, ham omelette with pancakes and a side of whipped cream. Spaghetti and meatballs. And an order of Pierogi’s. They are awesome and covered with bacon.
The food is absolutely delicious and cooked fresh when, we ordered. I would have to say the whipped cream was the best. The food is worth the price and it’s not bad at all for all of the food you receive.

Unfortunately, the service was extremely slow — it took close to two hours for our food to arrive, and several smaller tables that arrived after us were served much sooner. When we asked about the delay, our waitress was short and told us that we should have made a reservation, even though she had agreed to seat us.
When I asked to speak with the manager about how we were treated, he was dismissive and unhelpful. It was very disappointing to be treated that way, especially with a group of kids who were just excited to have breakfast together. Definitely not the experience we expected.
