We recently visited this location hoping for a satisfying breakfast, but my experience fell short on several levels.

Food:
• The Big Breakfast Plate ($20) arrived with less than half a cup of home fries, which was surprising given the price. Compared to
Other restaurants
• The sausage was only cooked on one side, (refer to photos). the eggs were rubbery and lacked flavor, and the rye toast was very hard and dry.
• The pancake was stale, with a weird texture that made it difficult to eat. I took them home for the doggies. (Let’s hope they can eat )
• Overall, the meal was greasy and lacked freshness.

Service:
• Initially, we were not greeted or checked on in a timely manner, despite the restaurant not being busy.
• The servers who eventually helped us were polite and friendly, which I appreciated.
• Unfortunately, the interaction I had with the manager, Dominique, was uncomfortable and dismissive. When I asked about the portion size of the home fries, he addressed me abruptly and walked away without offering any further assistance or concern.

I also noticed that he engaged with other guests in a much friendlier, courteous manner. As the only person of color in the restaurant at the time, I couldn’t help but wonder whether this influenced the way I was treated. I’m not making assumptions, but the contrast was noticeable and disheartening.

Suggestions for Improvement:
• Providing consistent, courteous service to every guest is essential. Training in customer relations and sensitivity could be beneficial for management.
• Checking in to ensure meals meet expectations and that concerns are heard would go a long way.
• Reviewing portion sizes is consistent , and freshness would improve the dining experience.

I’ve read similar reviews about this location, and my experience, unfortunately, aligns with them. While the servers were friendly, the manager’s lack of professionalism overshadowed the visit.

I hope this feedback helps inspire positive changes for future guests. Until then, I would recommend exploring other breakfast options in the area.

The red haired girl talked to me and she was super nice and it honestly just made my whole entire day, I don’t think I have ever met anyone nicer than her. Also, her sweeping skills are immaculate, I wish she could come to my house and sweep for me! Overall everyone was great but by far, that little red haired sweeper just knocked me off my feet! Well done whoever taught her to sweep and be nice!

This has got to be the worst breakfast buffet I’ve ever been to… the staff were wonderful greeting us as we got to the door. Very friendly and polite. The food however… we got the breakfast buffet… where do I start?

The eggs were waterlogged. Tried to take a picture to demonstrate this. I even came back for a second helping of eggs because I saw new eggs come out. They just threw them in with the old ones…

Judging from what I’ve seen the breakfast sausage were overcooked on both sides making them hard on the sides they were cooked on an undercooked on the side they did not flip onto. Chef has lost their passion…

I also tried to take a picture to show the amount of grease sitting in the trays. No attempt to remove this grease was made. I literally got near the end of my meal and felt as though it was pooling in my stomach and had diarrhea before finishing.

The potato wedges were overcooked to the point they were too crispy to be eaten! Sounds like it wouldn’t be a thing. Too crispy! Take a look at the picture and you will see.

They have a nice little assortment of prepackaged desert items but they are stale because of being left out on the counter.

I have no idea how the regular menu items are I have seen some good reviews. The buffet is not worth the price.

Pancakes were looking good but when tasted they were stale and hard and tasteless. French toast was literally like cardboard.
The saving grace were the fluffy eggs, bacon and candied apples. Even the jams tasted funny. Coffee was absolutely stale and tasteless.
Fresh fruits and whipped cream, butter tarts were good.

I recently ordered breakfast takeout from Golden Griddle via DoorDash and had a delightful experience. The food was amazing, with only minor feedback that the waffles were slightly softer than expected. Overall, I was impressed with the quality and flavor of everything. I would definitely order from them again

Yesterday was our first time coming here. We were greeted warmly by the cashier. Our vaccination status was verified along with our ID’s. Our large group was promptly seated and Deborah was our server.
She’s very nice, friendly and she laughed right along with us at the jokes being told at the table.
Deborah is awesome.
We ordered the Countryman’s breakfast, the peameal breakfast, BLT sandwiches and fries, ham omelette with pancakes and a side of whipped cream. Spaghetti and meatballs. And an order of Pierogi’s. They are awesome and covered with bacon.
The food is absolutely delicious and cooked fresh when, we ordered. I would have to say the whipped cream was the best. The food is worth the price and it’s not bad at all for all of the food you receive.
I would highly recommend coming here. Please ask for Deborah …. She’s awesome.

After several pleasant experiences we decided to come on the weekend for the Buffet. We were pleasantly surprised that they open at 7 which fits with my nights work schedule. Unfortunately they informed us that the Buffet starts after 8. That cuts in to my sleep time so we were deciding whether or not to stay while we were debating to order from the menu or wait for the Buffet the Owner or Manager came over and asked of we were going to order and I explained we were still deciding what to do when he rudely accused us of loitering and started to physically push me towards the exit. He got louder and ruder and very obnoxious and actually surprised that being treated that way might make me a little but angry. I must also add that earlier I noticed the bathroom was dirty and the toilet out of service, which to me is an indicator of what the kitchen status might be like but I was willing to overloook this since my first glance at the buffet was satisfactorily clean. I have been coming to this place for years and the lady who usually serves us as amazing but this dweeb of a man totally guaranteed that I will never visit this location again and I caution anyone who is thinking of visiting that this high tempered little round man is unstable and a very bad host who’s customer service is lousy enough to make the great Dale Carnegie turn over in his grave.

We visited Golden Griddle with our group of 12-year-old hockey players and several parents. One of the dads asked if they could accommodate us, and the waitress confirmed they could. Since we had two hours before we needed to be back at the arena, we thought we had plenty of time.

Unfortunately, the service was extremely slow — it took close to two hours for our food to arrive, and several smaller tables that arrived after us were served much sooner. When we asked about the delay, our waitress was short and told us that we should have made a reservation, even though she had agreed to seat us.

When I asked to speak with the manager about how we were treated, he was dismissive and unhelpful. It was very disappointing to be treated that way, especially with a group of kids who were just excited to have breakfast together. Definitely not the experience we expected.
