This restaurant has been around forever and a day, and for good reason too!! It’s one of the best Chinese restaurants in Knoxville! It’s a super tiny little place and it’s been carry out only since Covid. Their food is so delicious, it’s reasonably priced, decent portion sizes, it’s a very clean establishment, and they have such lovely staff! My favorite thing on the menu is their crab rangoon! It’s truly the BEST I’ve ever had anywhere! They stuff them and they are perfectly crispy on the outside without being too hard. It’s SO PERFECT! Call and place an order for carry-out! You will be so glad you did!

I’ve heard so many positive things about Golden Garden, so we had to give it a try. I ordered Pad Thai and the Hot and Sour soup. My husband ordered Mongolian Beef and Wonton soup. The flavors were spot-on! My only complaint is that there is no dine-in available.

Located in a strip mall it is casual, clean, and comfortable. They saved money on rent and put the focus on food and service.
The different people waiting on me were very nice, maybe even family members.

Very disappointing. The food was bland and I special ordered my cashew chicken with only…carrots, peas, water chestnuts and onion. Got no onion about 5 carrots and 1/2cup zucchini and peas. I HATE zucchini. There were so many cashews and water chestnuts, that is all you tasted. My husband got triple delight and it was dry; there was minimal liquid and void if flavor. My son’s dinner was drowning in liquid (floating) and was not very good. The worst egg rolls and crab Rangoon ever. Greasy and void of flavor! Then you have the egg drop soup; it was colored water. Absolutely no thickness to it whatsoever and little flavor! The crab Rangoon and egg rolls were very bland. The worst Chinese food I have had ever. When you pay $54 for dinner for the family, you expect it to be correct and good. Won’t be back!

Friendly staff and nice family business. Hot and Sour soup is very good as are the Crab Rangoon. Also like that the hot mustard is lively enough to tingle your nose. As far as main dishes. The Curry Chicken does not have the bold flavor I seek in Chinese Curry dishes. The Singapore Noodle lacks fresh quality ingredients in proper quantity, the noodles were not the traditional Singapore Noodle texture and the dish was a little too dry.
