Be aware if you order vegtable chow mein, it is not vegtable chow mein, it’s just steamed vegtables. Called to tell them and they didn’t care, had to throw it right in the garbage.

Too many mistakes and after well over 20 years patronizing this restaurant we’ve had enough.
Forget the sauce for the dumplings “dinner ruined”’, forget the gravy for the Egg Foo Young, another dinner delayed, forget EggRolls, white rice instead of fried rice in combo meals, no gravy in the boneless chicken, over and over again.
Yes, we’re the ones every Friday who would spend up too and over $50 dollars on meals 52 weeks a year and lately have had to return to pickup something that you had forgotten. Not once, not twice, but continuously having our dinner interrupted by this BS.
We’ve had enough!
Your lackluster performance has finally made us move on after decades of spending our hard earned money at your establishment.
Yes we are only one family whom will not patronize your business again, and we know it’s not going to affect you, but trust me when I say, when you can turn a customer like us away with your poor customer service, you will undoubtedly do it to some else, and another family will have had enough of your BS and divorce themselves like we have, and in the end, you can’t stand there and wonder why?
Just go back and read this review and understand in this economy you should have paid better attention to detail.
And in closing I have to say there are better options locally for decent Chinese cuisine as well as outstanding customer service. One has got to reach their tolerance limit and simply move on.

Ordered lunch from here the other day. Good lunch specials with lots of food. However I ordered the lunch chicken chow mein and it didn’t look like chow mein. The bbq ribs were delicious though. They almost forgot my cheese wontons which seems to be a theme with all the Chinese restaurants in this area.

I have gotten food her twice in the past month. The pork fried rice is the best around. The lomein is very tasty. The egg rolls are so good! The ribs and pepper steak too. Everything we have ordered has been delicious. I also like that they deliver.

They’re great. Been going for years and the food is great, they never mess up my order, it’s always prompt, and the occasional freebies (fried dough or wantons or whatever) are a very nice surprise. Friends from out of town like it too. I feel lucky this is my local Chinese food place.
Also, order from them or their website directly instead of an app where the middlemen take a particularly greedy cut.

Called in and ordered plain steamed chicken to be delivered. Paid, tipped well, all good. Opened plain steamed chicken, smelled fishy. I’m allergic to shellfish. Not anaphylactic, but get sick.
I called to explain, and May I please return what was delivered and go up to store to get new? Offering to bring existing food and go out after delivery. No sneaky intentions.

so I go (of course, large chicken is not cheap – and that’s just fine! I wait in line patiently, present the chicken – smells fine to them! Asked a super nice gentleman waiting for his meal (after she said I was crazy, and that it’s fine).
Thank you cool guy! He smelled, and said in earshot to owner – smells like some kind of fish. Upset to make me another but did. She made me smell it, they did swear new wok, etc. still fishy. Not like plug your nose at all, but smelled like shrimp/fish.
Bite the bullet, threw out the food I spent money for and delivery, and went to wing wah on old town road up the street.
They are great – they just dont deliver – because they are so busy.
Owner was so argumentative and took it personally. It’s just dinner. It’s ok. Stuff happens. No, “I’m sorry you didn’t like that, can we make something different?”

This is by far the BEST Chinese food I have ever had and I have had alot of different Chinese food in the Selden, centereach and coram area! The food is fresh and the taste is undeniably phenomenal! The people that work there are pleasant to deal with and extremely polite! I promise you will not be disappointed, this is mine and my families new go to!!
