I like the fact that they take card over the phone for delivery, hated that they made a tip mandatory. I’m all for giving a tip but don’t like that they felt entitled to one before even receiving the service. The food was mediocre, nothing great but not terrible. I’d order again if nothing else was available, but I have to disagree with the “best Chinese food” comments. On a plus side, they’re fairly affordable.

Hi there. I wanted to discuss with them about where they get their produce from which I was speaking to the son. Told him that I want to find out where you get your produce from. He answered my question with a question by asking why are you asking me. Answering a question with a question isn’t what one does. Told him I want to find out whether the produce isn’t from China. That you get the produce local. He then said I don’t have to tell you. Told him I have a right to ask being that if I’m going to eat at your place I have a right to know where the produce is coming from. Do you have a certificate which shows where you get the produce from? He said I don’t have to show you. There are other places to go to. Told him by not showing me you’re losing the chance of a customer. As a customer we have a right to know ahead of time where the produce is coming from being that we’re paying to eat your food. All I want to know is whether the produce isn’t coming from China which is reasonable being that China did bring a crisis to the World almost five years ago with the Coronavirus. Being that China did this and there hasn’t been a regime change in their government since then there’s no reason to trust them in the food that they bring here as well!

We are moving out of Great Neck this month, and we did brought in from Golden Garden after not having their food for two years. Everything we had was so much better than we had remembered, and with the best BBQ spare ribs on the bone I have ever had from any Chinese restaurant or takeout. The other dishes were equally good.

Yeah it’s a no for me. The sesame chicken tasted old, the pork lo mein tasted like burnt oil. The egg roll and crab ragoon had almost no filling in it. Had less then half and threw the rest away. Would never order or recommend this place to anyone.

General Tso chicken was very flavorful, just a tiny spicy and not that oily. Good portion size and fair price. Very convenient to order on the website and pay/pick up in store. I will order again.

I love eating out or ordering in and Golden Garden has always been one of my favorite places..Food is always fresh and delicious..when i order by phone, Quan Chen is an absolute delight..Always polite and very courteous. Golden Garden is family owned , and Quan Chen is a true asset to the restaurant..So thank you so much for taking good care of us always
