Loved this place! My fiancé and I stopped in and the gal serving was very kind! I got the Belgian waffle with a side of hash browns and he got a bacon breakfast burrito. Everything was delicious and priced well! Which is definitely hard to come by in this area. We will be returning!

Our third year at Golden Eagle. Our stay is perfect. Mountain View’s, friendly staff, they answer their phones or return promptly any message. They have someone staffed at all times in the store/office. Propane on site, live music on Friday and Saturday nights with food served. The longer you stay it becomes like family. The grill is great. I think last night I had one of the best burgers I have ever had. Very dog friendly but could use a dog run somewhere. Plenty of places to walk your dog off site.

They’re very friendly and offer a warm and inviting place. However I think the menu needs tweaking. Hamburgers, fries and pizzas are good and pretty well priced for this area, however other items seem overpriced and small portioned.. I ordered a garden salad as a side and it was very good but very small for $6.95. I also got the BLT which was delicious but it was grilled like you would a grilled cheese sandwich and a little bit greasy. It was supposed to come with a pickle but I didn’t get one and forgot to ask . I had the burrito bowl previously and it was good but very small. More like a lunch sized portion rather than dinner. Chips and salsa are not offered. Fries and onion rings are ordered separately, not part of the sandwich order.. This place has great potential just needs to be tweaked a little bit in my opinion.

Maddie is so friendly, and the food is always great. Everything we have had has been consistently good, but one of us always gets a burger and onion petals because yum! Be sure to bring tip money in cash, because they take credit cards for food, but not for tips.

Great little country restaurant attached to a RV park. Good food, good service and a GREAT view when eating outside. There’s even live music on Friday and Saturday. Also about 200 yards from the cool little mountain town of Eagles Nest. Also worth checking out.
