Reminded ne of the amazing Chinese food from childhood. The pork fried rice was absolutely incredible. Hard to find rice that has a hint of smokey flavor from the pork. Haven’t had rice that good since I was a kid. The Walnut shrimp had a thin layer of crispness and were big. The sweet and sour pork was everything I imagined it would be and more. The vegetables were crisp as was the fried layer of the pork. The meat inside was tender and juicy. The orange chicken was also crisp on the outside, tender and juicy on the inside. The servings were very generous and priced fairly. 10/10 highly recommend. The restaurant itself has a cozy atmosphere and the staff are very friendly. The tea served while you wait for your order was very good too. This is our new Chinese food/takeout spot.

We enjoyed what we ordered. It’s large portions you can share. We dinned in for lunch for New Years and was pleasantly served some green tea as soon as we sat down. The women serves were so nice and the food was of good quality. We will be coming back 🙂

Food was very good. If we where in town longer we would definitely be back.
The service was excellent, our servers where so kind and prompt. Shan suggested one of the best dishes we had the plum pork. The food came out fast and fresh. Plus there was parking.
Edit to add **At first when looking at the menu online I was a bit nervous not knowing what it was without any pictures, but be at ease there’s pictures with the names all over the walls.**
We had the carb puffs, green beans with garlic, mongolian beef, Char siu-BBQ pork, pork chop with plum sauce, and vegetable fried rice.
The carb puff where stuffed with filling and so crunchy, the green beans where cooked perfectly with ample flavor, the beef was flavorful with out being over powered by sauce or too fatty, the plum pork came out hot and crispy with that yummy plum sauce, the BBQ pork was okay the flavor was good but I was expecting it to be hot and it was just warm but that might be normal?, and finally the vegetable fried rice was a classic.

Ordered online and paid $70 for shrimp fried rice, king pao chicken and spring rolls. No rice came with the Kung pao chicken. The shrimp fried rice wasn’t fried at all just scrambled egg on white rice with a few peas, carrots and shrimp mixed in. The spring rolls came in a greasy brown paper bag. No container to protect from loss of heat or contamination. No soy sauce, napkins, eating utensils, nothing. Just completely bad pedestrian service. If I could give a zero or negative rating I would. Avoid this place.

Old standard of Cantonese food. Parking used to be a real hassle as the digital parking system did not work properly. They have made some improvements. You can also park on King St. I come here at least once a visit to fill my nostalgic taste for New Year’s Jai. Excellent. Reminds me of my mom’s. Haven’t found it in Los Angeles. Generous portions.

Hidden gem near Waikiki in my opinion. Came here with a group of 7 an hour before they close and we had the best service and really good food. Their menu is huge and filled with goodies that are super affordable compared to other places. On this night, we tried their wonton noodle soup (6.50$), and their Golden Eagle Special (39.99$) that comes with 4 entries and rice. The food was excellent and the Golden Eagle Special is a hit and highly recommended if you come with a large group. The portion size is spot on and flavor of each dish is just quality. I can’t stop commenting on how great their service was. Our waitress or shall I say multiple waitresses were attentive and hands down provided the best service I’ve had in Hawaii. People needs to come here and try their food. Trust me, you won’t be disappointed.

We order the same thing everywhere to compare! Orange chicken and sesame chicken. They were both excellent. The sesame had almost a honey glaze flavor. The meat was good(not majorly filled with grissle like the cheap places), but mainly dark meat. Both rices were wonderful! We love our Chinese food! It looked like a typical hole in the wall joint with cardboard boxes stacked up in the dining area. So it wasn’t cosmetically perfect, but in our experiences, that’s where the best food is waiting to be found. 😉

One of the best place on the island to have authentic Chinese and Malaysian food at nominal price. The quantity and quality of food is good. You will have a lot of options. They have bulk options for group of people. The group of 4 or 10. The people are so courteous.
