Just ordered a couple items to go, but was pleasantly surprised at the flavors and how they packed my items to go. Tried the char shiu (bbq pork) and shrimp har gao. The bbq pork wasn’t much to look at and definitely didn’t look like the picture, but was a large serving for the price and had very good flavor. The har gao didn’t seem made in house, but was prepared well and tasted decent enough. When I’m at a dim sum house, I love my sauces including hot mustard and they packed four different types of sauces to go for me, including hot mustard! Made up for a lot! Really didn’t need to add the sambal packets, which I will remember to leave behind next time. The hot mustard and two chilis were perfect and paired well with the har gao. Would recommend both dishes and will be back to try something else next time. Only wish they had lunch specials or dinner combos since I can’t order a lot of main dishes, but happy with the dishes I tried.

Despite the need for an aesthetic update, the fantastic food makes this restaurant worth a visit. If you can overlook the dated decor, you’re in for a treat with some of the best Chinese dishes around.
