Golden Crown on Kresge Drive in Amherst Ohio provides very good basic chinese food for takeout only. They no longer have table service. They have a large menu and give generous portions. It’s a great place for takeout when you are craving all the Chinese food favorites.

Ok…Was NOT impressed! I’ve tried alot of Chinese food places and this one was the worst. I spent $90 for 4 people and all of us did not care for any of it. To start the portion sizes are way smaller…other places fill up the containers and they overflow…the chicken and beef teriyaki sticks were a joke…the crab Rangoon was so tiny it was laughable…the Pork Fried Rice was clumsy and had no flavor…breaded chicken wings were so dry they were hard to chew…marinated wings were ok but wish they weren’t whole wings but were separate pieces like their breaded wings…definitely won’t come back unless they improve the portion sizes and food quality.

Been going to this spot since I had teeth! The staff are the most kindest people and always have a smile. The crab rangoons, wonton soup, egg rolls, and the almighty sweet and sour chicken is TO DIE FOR. I moved to Texas but this is a spot I will always hit anytime I’m back home! I accidentally ordered an item that was marked as hot/ spicy. The lady let me taste my food before taking it home, and it was not too hot or spicy ,even for me. I thought that was very kind of her. Otherwise, I had offered to just by another meal, but she wanted me to taste it first. I believe they just acquired another regular customer! Thank you for being so kind, even if it was my error.
