Decently priced. I wound up having 2 full plates and some dessert. The serving line was very clean and organized. Everything (plates, food, salad bar, etc) was stocked or restocked quickly. The tables were clean. Staff were present if you had questions, but some only speak Spanish. Most of the food was pretty good, but the chicken was dry, and some of the vegetables weren’t cooked all the way (they were still a little crunchy). If you get the cheddar biscuits, they do not taste anything like Red Lobster’s, so don’t get your hopes up Customers were surprisingly quiet and respectful.

It was the worst experience I had in a long time dining out. The most obvious problem here is cleanliness. The ceiling was exposed bars dropping dust, tables dirty, there was mold on the ice cream cones, the silverware, cups dirty and bathrooms filthy. The second big problem is that the food served is at all the wrong temperatures. Warm items cold, soups, hot cheese and sauces cold. The homemade potato chips were so cold yhey were not crunchy and difficult to chewy coating your mouth in grease. The hashbrown were like cold spaghetti, not crispy at all, and was sitting in cold water. Lots of old items completely rock hard, the cakes were so stale you could not eat it. There was hair in the ground beef for tacos. And the zucchini was so dried and old it was like rubber, just to name a few. This was a first and last experience here. The manager was present and heard complaints and did nothing until multiple talked about the cakes, and then new slices came out. I have never seen more poorly run establishment. I understand it’s cheap and all you can eat, but food quality and restaurant quality are the absolute lowest you can find.

We visited again when we were in Sacramento for football! Other families joined us & agreed about the greatness we told them about. The waiter was good, kind & attentive so we all tipped. The kids (7 of them) ate til full & of course got desert. This is an update of last 2021 year’s post.
We love Golden Corral! Child1 (C1) actually spotted it from McDonald’s when we went to breakfast in Sacramento, CA.
After C1s football game, we went to the largest Golden Corral we have ever seen! The food was delicious with more choices than we are use to seeing. The waiter’s service was bad because we only seen him once & he didn’t come to refill any drinks. Also another worker took my husband’s spot when he was backing into it. So they need to make sure those folks represent the restaurant.
Overall, we were in awe of the size & new choices. Next time we in Sacramento, we will visit this Golden Corral again!

Serious problems with how it’s being managed. Poor food quality, staff seems meh. No soft serve, few desserts, slider burgers were only offering from the grill. Old breakfast items out looked very old and unappealing. It’s lunch, time to pull that old food. This place has consistently declined. This was my last visit to this location.

Food was excellent. Salad bar could use some black olives and cherry tomatoes. Server was decent. Could have been a tad faster with the drink refills. He was very friendly and quick to meet and greet customers. And the atmosphere was alright. Did have to swat away a few mosquitos while eating but was quiet and peaceful otherwise.

We go to this buffet fairly often. Tonight, the food was terrible – old, empty pans, undercooked cauliflower, dried up gravy…. When I mentioned the condition of the buffet to the manager, he told me that he had a new line cook and we just need to be patient.
I actually walked with the manager and showed him all of the pans, old food, and commented to him that the restaurant doesn’t look like this when Mo (the owner) is here, to which he replied “yes it does”.
I am so disappointed by the experience that we had but more importantly by the responses of the manager on duty tonight. I actually started taking pictures because the food looked so bad and I wanted to show the owner.
The manager then came out and told me that I couldn’t take pictures of the pans of food because the pic the pictures are illegal. He further explained that taking pictures of food inside Golden Corral is illegal because it is copyrighted. Copyrighted?
If I were Mo, I would seriously reevaluate who he has running his restaurant in his absence.

Now this was at the start of dinner time so that saves them a little. However, here are some things I will point out. Ants near and on the table I sat at, in the back by the window on the other side of the restrooms, chair near me was dirty and they were using it as a barrier to block off about 10 tables that seemed to be reserved for employees eating on break, and not good during dinner rush where it was hard to find a table to begin with. Back area by fire exit door behind restrooms is a cluttered mess of chairs and signs stacked on the sides and I’m guessing an employee bike. Not gonna be good for people to be tripping over all that stuff in an emergency. Not that i use hot sauce but couldnt help but notice the bottles at my table, would not use those. Also it took forever just to get drink refills. Not good but not the worst.

I went to this restaurant for the first time and wow! So many options! My jaw fell to the floor. My eyeballs ran out of their sockets to see all the choices. Yum, yum, yum!! So many delicious items. The dessert bar, oh yes! Chocolate fountain, cotton candy, cakes, ice cream and more!! Definitely recommend eating here! Drink water so you can eat more.

3. Lots of Seating and Booths
CONS:
1. Not very “Clean” at all!
2. Bathroom was Stinky and Dirty even when it was slow also 2 empty soap dispensers and no paper towel dispenser (just air blower) not smart for a place that has BBQ food that can get on your kids face!!
The water to wash your hands with smells and is set to cold always!
3. Most of the food has been sitting in the buffet line for way to long and has become to dry or soggy and tasteless! ( fried okra, chicken, baked potatoes just to name a few)
4. Desserts are very weak in taste and cake was very dry with a small selection to pick from!
5. Seen employee sneeze into her hands and then touch the bread as she was loading it into the tray!
6. Most of the employees just stand around talking to each other and should focus on their customers!
7. Extremely over priced! $18 for dinner per person with soft drink.
I would not recommend this place as this is really gone down hill for Golden Corral why does corporate office allow this type of service?
