This was our official last day in Tracy before we moved but I must say this buffet was our go to spot esp bc the new manager huge shout out to Caroline thank you for always warmly welcoming us your kind spirited & always took care of me & my fam everytime we dined in so I’m willing to drive over an hr to come all way back to this location it’s so worth it the remodeling is great not to mention the best part all the fresh food yummy for my tummy highly recommend

Yesterday I had dinner at this place along with my friends and the experience was absolutely outstanding. Not only was the food fresh, well prepared, and full of variety, but what truly set this visit apart was the exceptional service provided by our waiter Danny.
From the moment we arrived, Danny greeted us warmly and made sure we felt welcomed and comfortable. Throughout our meal, he was attentive without being intrusive, always checking in at the perfect time to refresh drinks, clear plates, and ensure that we were doing ok, despite the busy atmosphere, he maintained a friendly and professional attitude treating every one of us as his top priority, such a really nice guy!

Golden Corral in Tracy is usually good, the food is hot and fresh most of the time, and the staff are friendly and helpful. However, my experience at this location has been repeatedly affected by one particular employee at the steak station.
This employee has consistently been rude and unprofessional in front of other guests. He often refuses to ask for your steak preference, speaks in an impatient and harsh tone over simple requests.He often does not ask how you want your steak cooked and instead prepares it exactly how he chooses, without checking your preference.
Despite giving the location multiple chances, his behavior has not improved, which has made my visits stressful.
Because of this, I now drive 40 minutes to another Golden Corral branch instead of going here. It’s unfortunate, because the restaurant itself is good and the rest of the staff are nice, but this one issue significantly impacts the experience.

Stopped in for lunch and ate to much. Everything I had tasted great. There was an attendant that cleared off my plates and filled my water glass without asking. Easy access getting on and off the freeway. I was just driving through.

The food is always so delicious and exactly what im expecting. Im always in for a treat with a new dessert as well. I recommend golden corral in tracy to anybody nearby that asks about a buffet. We come from Stockton to enjoy the food ! Caroline the manager is so friendly and nice and Rigo our waiter was so polite and ontop of it!!! He had our table cleared at the perfect timing !!!! The ice cream machine had stopped working for some reason and rigo came to fix it !!! Everything was the best it could have been. We came to celebrate my sons his 8th bday here per his request which we were all so excited for ! Keep up the good work everyone. My compliments to everyone in the kitchen as well !!! The food was juicy ,tender, crunchy Everything was cooked to perfection. Keep up the awesome work !!!!!

Lourdes is amazing! She’s always kind, helpful, and such a delight. This location never fails, and most of the staff are very friendly and hardworking.
I do wish some of the managers smiled more. Most employees are welcoming, but one of the male managers didn’t seem as friendly. Hopefully he’ll be warmer next time.
The only disappointment was that there was no broccoli or cauliflower today, which I usually eat since I don’t eat rice.
Overall, still five stars because of Lourdes and the great service!

New drinks! Flavored lemonades. Now we can self serve which I think is a plus. New A.C. looks like they painted the place. Food was good. I don’t think they have the chocolate fountain at the dessert station anymore.

I love the customer service we get from Lourdes. She is very friendly, respectful and treats you like family. She makes sure our dirty dishes are promptly cleaned out of our table. I always look forward to sit on the area she is assigned because of the way she welcomes me and my family, she leads by example!!!!

The food was good …but the customer service was great! Caroline greeted us and made us feel welcomed right from the start! It was our first time going to this Golden Corral and let me tell you it was a great experience. Our host, Danny was awsome always made sure we where taken care of and he is a hard worker very impressed! We will definitely be coming back!
