So I live in Pomona. But work security at Angel stadium I decided to take a pre work excursion yesterday morning for breakfast I normally go to the Golden corrals. By me in Pomona , Covina and sometimes industry anyway the cashier and omelet station ladies were very nice and helpful. However I noticed something normally when you walk in and sit your greeted by a dining room host /buser. Who asks if you need anything nobody came around nobody said anything infact when I did find the person in the dining room I told her the orange juice was out. She seemed incredibly bothered that I said anything at all well getting some bacon I mentioned it to the. I assume it was the manager. He seemed nice anyway I understand it was breakfast and it was busy as this was about 10 am I was there from about 940 until 11 when I had to catch my bus to Go to work this was my first time here but definitely won’t let this sour a future visit as I said I work at Angel stadium so I’d definitely like go back by the way the 10:99 breakfast was a home run

Out of the locations near me (Anaheim, City of Industry, Downey, Pomona, Covina, Bellflower and Ontario), the Anaheim has the highest lunch prices at $18.99 per adult. I thought prices would be the same at all locations but it’s not. I didn’t realize they had different prices on the menu, where you can see an increase of prices. We spent $61.39, getting only water since they charge for beverages.

There are plenty of tables and booths; even for larger groups.

They have a typical American and Mexican food, salad bar and dessert station. My favorites were the pot roast (tender but could have had more sauce), sausages, meatloaf (juicy) and freshly grilled cheeseburgers (bread was too thick). The Mac n Cheese looked too thick instead of creamy!! The fried chicken was piled high. The taquero serving Mexican style tacos wasn’t there at that station, even though the food was there. Not even when dinner started and after 5pm. They also have an ICEE machine with Cherry Limeade, Sour Apple and Pina Colada flavors. My favorite desserts were the pumpkin and red velvet cake balls, which are fantastic freshly made! The pumpkin pie was okay. The carrot cake looked dry. The chocolate soft serve was good with peanuts on top! The chocolate pie was a little too dense. The Rice Krispies treats were better without chocolate. Overall, typical buffet food.

They do have a grill station that cooks hamburgers and after 4pm, steaks. The first time I got a piece of steak, it was bland and a little over medium rare. But, the 2nd time I got one, it was seasoned well and definitely medium rare. The guy at the grill station was very nice though.

For the rest of the staff, customer service could have been better and friendlier. It was a little warm in the restaurant.

This is the most disgusting buffet I have ever tried. And I usually LOVE Golden Corral! The food on the line was actually cold. The popcorn shrimp, I had to stop eating because it was ice cold. We asked them about the shrimp, could they maybe put some fresh ones? They did nothing. Warning, too – they charge dinner price all day ($18.99!!) and keep some disgusting breakfast out so they don’t have to fill in the buffet with better items. And my husband says there’s no chili so you might die if you eat here. But seriously, to pay 20 bucks a person with tax for a buffet, you expect it to be GOOD. Like… what Golden Corral used to be. Today, there was no steak, no tacos that I read sooo much about, only vanilla ice cream (no chocolate or swirl), plus no ice cream toppings like sprinkles or hot fudge… how do you mess up the ice cream at a Golden Corral? This was not an experience we will be repeating.

If I could give them 0 stars, I would. The steak I got was about 98% fat and maybe 2% meat. The ham was old and dry, and the mashed potatoes looked like cottage cheese. My uncle had to send his steak back because it was all fat, and when they brought out a new one, they just threw it on the plate with no care at all. The host who greeted us was very rude, which just added to the bad experience overall. The only good part of our visit was our server, Jenny — she was amazing

Ordered 2 bags of food from the Too Good To Go app.

Wow, what a disaster this place is. First off who decided that the pick up should be an hour after they close? How about 30 minutes before close? Horrible logistics and thinking on whoever decided this.

I was ignored for well over 10 minutes and I tried speaking to a lady who was mopping and she just stared at the ground speaking Spanish only. Yikes, I should have just left than and there but this was my first time picking up from here so I was curious. Buffets waste a lot of food so I had my hopes up…

I’ll let the photos do the talking.

Yeah, I am fully supporting ICE after this.

There are a few locations nearby, but we rather drive 45 minutes away to go to this place because they have a taquero serving Mexican style tacos normally asada, chicken, al pastor or birria with three different great taste spicy salsas, onions, radishes and cilantro.

The steaks are great quality and they actually cooked the steaks according to your preference Blue Rare, Rare, median rare, median well, well done.
Great salad bar!

Great dessert bar

Plenty of choices for soft drinks and coffee!

Great place at a great price!

I will advice people who want good food. The best time to go to Golden Corral is Wednesday morning and Thursday morning when they open. It is in the middle of the week and food is fresh. The chef those days in Anaheim cook well. Never go on a Saturday, or Sunday too many people. They serve breakfast only when they open on the weekend with poor selection. The dinner it will be way over crowded with food not so fresh. Wednesday when they open and Thursday are the only days they have that good cook.

I got to the lunch buffet at 1:30 and found an added bonus…BREAKFAST. That’s right, Golden Corral kept some eggs and sausages on the line and, it was the afternoon too. My appetite increased immediately. It’s the way things are supposed to be.

Nice, clean, quiet place with typical American and Mexican food. Service is efficient, professional and pleasant.

$16 lunch, $20 dinner. Salad bar is good, crisp, fresh. 4 kinds of soups, good pot roast and meatloaf, but both are salty. I wish they use only 20 % salt and let customer add at table to taste.

Battered fried shrimp, fried chicken as good and juicy as KFC. Other chicken dishes are also tasty. Spaghetti is good with fresh sauce.

The carving station had ham, sausages for lunch with top sirloin steaks for dinner cooked to order.

There is a taco station but nobody partook. For kids there are mac n cheese, pizza, hot dog, french fries, chicken nuggets ect. Desert is decent with cake, fruits, melons, pudding.

Food is fresh and well tended. This place is a good value. Recommended.

Came on Christmas day around 3:30pm and I was appalled! Gordan Ramsey would close this place down, food was terrible, the steak chef was rude, it was as if there was no passion in the food making whatsoever. I love going to Golden coral, but I will not be returning to this one. And the worst of it was $100 was wasted on the disappointing meal for myself and my whole family. The food tags didnt match the meals, deserts were very sloppy. Just so sad on such a wonderful family holiday.
