We’ve been to Golden Corral many times over the years, but our visit today was outstanding because of the excellent service from the staff and management. We had a party of 11 for a New Year’s Eve party and everything was set up for us on time. They were great to proactively clear dishes and refill drinks promptly when needed and when asked. We had an issue with not being able to scan multiple receipts for the points, so the manager took care of it and made things right. As usual, the food was really good, and we didn’t leave hungry. Kudos again to the manager and his crew!

Fairly good food for the prices, of course you’ll be getting more quantity than quality, but some things were genuinely good. I actually appreciated the tempura fish, shrimp poppers, salad bar, fruit bar… the burgers were sub par, as well as the pizza, but all in all not too bad. It wasn’t super clean, but the staff was AWESOME! Such great service, I’m not kidding! Good for family parties.

They have big chunky ice, not the small round ice.

First we were traveling back to Canada and over the 2 days we went to 2 golden corrals. Of the 2 this one was better our waitress was amazing, she kept our drinks full and was very friendly. The food was ok…not amazing but not terrible. We have very few buffets in western Canada at least in my area that are as cost effective as these ones but the food could be better.

Our waitress was great, but most of the food I just didn’t like. It may have been just the time we went but everything just tasted bland and like it been sitting out for hours. I would have rather gone to Wendy’s or some place else to be honest.

I was there a few days ago and Ximena was my dining attendant. The whole time I was there Ximena was working her little rear end off. I was super impressed with her work ethic and attentiveness. Thank you Ximena for all your hard work. ❤️

It’s a smaller Golden Corral. Well kept, clean, food was fresh and plentiful. Quiet, but not vacant. Well staffed. Easy to get in and out.

Service was pretty good but the food quality was absolutely horrendous I haven’t been more disgusted in a buffet place that I have here… With me being a cook I know I can definitely do so much better even just at home I’m so disappointed…. The picture shows an onion ring and it’s not even cooked all the way through plus the dough wasn’t even dough it was like powder….

I have thought whether to leave this review or not, but, I feel if I do not then others may receive the same treatment as we did.
Last night we decided to bring our 10 person family in for dinner. Two being infants (not eating), One a toddler (2 years of age), and 7 adults. This consists of Myself and my Husband, our 3 children, 2 son in laws, and 3 grandchildren.
Upon arriving we were stared at immediately. I felt very uncomfortable. I walked up to the cashier, a friendly young man who was standing next to a short slender woman who would not look at us. I let him know we had 7 adults and a 2 year who would be eating. He happened to type in the toddler first and asked for what drink he would want. He was still heading in from the car with his father so I wasn’t able to answer that. I had said 7 adults first, before the toddler. I simply asked if we could do the adults first, which the lady beside him snapped at me, “what drink for the 2 year old”. I was shocked by this as she stood facing the food lines, not even taking a moment to look over at me. I proceeded to ask again if we could start with the adults first. She grumbled something under her breath, rolled her eyes and said “yes”. Reaching over the cashier and editing the screen for us to begin with adults.
We went through the seven drinks of the adults not so smoothly either. I had to repeat the drinks at least three times to just get the cashier to get them correct. Finally getting to the 2 year olds order. I paid in cash $150.11 and stood as the cashier asked twice how many people for utensils? Seriously you have to hear the number 8 twice? I was getting a little frazzled by this time and just wanted to get to our table to relax.
I have disabilities with my back, legs, ankles, and feet that makes it very difficult to stand for a long period of time without hurting. This did not help at all. We settled into the furthest table that was located east in the restaurant. Figured out seating and stood there watching who was supposed to be our server continue to sweep a small area and not even acknowledge our group.
As I walked to the salad bar I kindly asked her if we could get a highchair. She simply answered “yeah”, and walked away. After getting my salad I returned to our table to find the highchair and our drinks, a pleasant sight, and a hope to having great service! Apparently I was asking for far to much! We have 8 people eating at this table and only 4 plates were gathered this entire time. We had to ask her for refills every single time (and most the time we literally couldn’t find her)?? Where did she go all of the time? Then to my amazement my son pointed out that she was in the next area over, looking through the window that connects the two areas I could see her smiling and talking to another server and a table. I was so shocked.
Now, don’t get me wrong, but I did notice something that very much upset me at this time. This table she was happily visiting with was of Hispanic origin, and as soon as she would come to our table she was unpleasant, cold, and ignored us almost 98% of the time there. I want you to know that just because a person may speak Spanish fluently, have dark eyes, hair and sometimes skin shouldn’t be the reason you visit and treat them with respect.
I have pale skin, blue/grey eyes, and medium brown hair. I am of Hispanic origin as well. Do I so loudly exclaim this as I enter a restaurant? No, of course not!! But, I do feel I should be given the same respect and acknowledgement as any other race within the restaurant. I accept all races, religions, and anyone for whom they are.
Please take a moment to retrain the employees on your team and make sure this does cause issues with people wanting to even return! I would rather drive the extra amount of time to Layton and support them instead, than be treated so badly again.

What is there to say? It’s Golden Corral. This location is very clean and nice. We always like coming here. And the mashed potatoes, the true metric of a great buffet, are top shelf!!!
