Nice atmosphere and very clean. There’s a wide variety of food, of course, but here are the standouts:
1) The taco bar – I was impressed – had the chicken, the carnitas (pork) and carne asada, and they were all good. They have an employee manning it and he toasted the tortillas just right (so they don’t fall apart) and they have red and green salsas (the green won today!).
2) The mashed potatoes with the pork tip and mushroom gravy was a perfect combo. Add the Salisbury steak and that plate was a homerun! I did try the meatloaf, but I gotta say that the Salisbury steak won today.
3) The roast pork – wasn’t dry thankfully AND the flavor was amazing – I honestly could’ve just ate this meat and this trip would’ve been well worth it.
And lastly, the service was on point – our waitress, Paulina, was super busy, BUT she made sure our drinks remained full and was very attentive to us The dishes I mentioned, the cleanliness and our waitress made this 5 Star experience, Thank you!

I’ve been coming here since I was a kid. I miss the old set up before the renovation but that’s just a personal opinion. The new set up is more modern and well designed. The food always reminds me of a giant Thanksgiving Dinner. Staff is friendly and the food is cooked right. I love that they support Veterans Day and I go every year!

Arlene was absolutely fabulous and fantastic!!! She was very busy making sure the dishes were cleared and our waters were filled. Customer service from Arlene was superb!! She was clearing other tables too with lighting speed. I over heard another table next to us tell the manager how great Arlene was too. She is definitely a fantastic asset to this restaurant and to the corporation of Gold Corral. She is a wonderful example to the rest of the employees in this restaurant of working hard. She is and was very personable and very friendly. She is an exceptional employee! Our experience is from the Golden Corral in Orem Utah.

After paying just shy of $100 to get our family in, we walked in to find every table in the restaurant dirty. No where to sit. Finally got a table clear and went to get my plate. Part way though my salad I found a little friend. See photo, I mean; I like a little crunch in my salad, but this is too much. We’re done here.

Thank you Golden Corral, Orem for providing a great experience for our group. It is so nice to have a space where we can enjoy a meal together and each person can select their own food from the buffet. All for an affordable price. There is always a good variety of choices, and having turkey & other typical Thanksgiving dishes was perfect for our Thanks&Giving themed dinner. Our server, Kathryn, was friendly and attentive. She did an awesome job, especially since she was on her own taking care of more than 40 people! Alex, the manager on duty, was great to work with and made sure that things went smoothly, as always.
I appreciate all the effort that went into making our dinner a deliciously positive experience.
P.S. My only suggestion for improvement… The turkey pieces in the pan that were already cut off the bone were very dry and tough. Several people mentioned it. Perhaps it was just that one pan? On the contrary, I found the carving station turkey to be moist & delicious.

It’s clean, and the atmosphere is pretty nice. Our waiter, whose name with a L, is awesome! I can’t remember his name. But thanks to him, I feel like we’re getting good service. The food is ok. We went there for lunch, not many options.

This Buffet is an awesome atmosphere who can complain about an all you can eat buffet. I loved going here with my family and recommend the chocolate cover strawberries and the bourbon chicken with rice! These strawberries are a perfect combination of chocolate and sweet fruit and are to die for!

Was greeted quickly and wasn’t busy. The food was good and warm and they had a lot of variety. Our waitress Patty was nice and amazing. Everything was clean and well organized. The price is amazing for a breakfast buffet 8-11.
