Was in Wednesday evening for dinner and the food was absolutely terrible. All the food was dried out and old. Cold pizza, bland mac and cheese the only thing good was the corn and green beans. It actually made me sick for $18. There are tons of other places with much better food for less in the same area. I wouldn’t even give a dog this food to eat.

I had a terrible experience there was a cockroach on my table while I was eating, I called the waitress and she called the manager , which he called an other guy , and the guy said that at least we ate for free , Which I found that vary unprofessional and disgusting because I wouldn’t even eat there for free with them having cockroaches.

I’ve enjoyed Golden Coral before, but this location disappointed me. Worse food, unhygienic conditions, resulting in an overall unpleasant experience. Despite the increased prices since last time me and my partner felt it best to leave sooner than later.

My roommate and I were really looking forward to going here. She is disabled. She has a sling and a cane. The floors were filthy. The food was salty and what really got to me was the amount of children running amock in a restaurant. When you go to a restaurant it’s supposed to be a pleasant social experience. There were children running everywhere and no one stop them and she was almost knocked down more than four or five times I have to assist her at the buffet to make sure she gets what she wants and the children running around was not only distracting. It was a real concern. The only saving grace was Paco. He was a wonderful, wonderful server. He was so nice and attentive and even though the food wasn’t that great, I tipped him $20 because he was stellar.

This place is so gross. We walked in, and the cashiers are not too friendly. We would not have come here if we weren’t given a gift card. The price is expensive for not even sub-par food. If you have food allergies, this place is a huge no no. We paid, picked a table, and noticed food splattered on the walls and pictures. It looks like it’s been there for quite some time. The waitress brought us drinks one time, and we had to wait some time for a refill. The cups were something bad. I’m glad we brought hand sanitizer in. We put it on the silverware and wiped them down. Wiped our table down. The guest that came in was pretty old and met in large groups. Or there was a ton of work men and unkempt people / families. Kids sticking fingers into food. Grabbing food from places with their hands and eating along the way. The adults weren’t no better. I seen several grab fries, onion rings, and such just eating away while dishing out other food for themselves. Great, another person’s spit all over the other handles. The food was mostly, if at all, fresh. It’s like opening the box of potato buds, adding water, and toss out on the line. Never again. Not very handicapped accessible.

I really enjoyed my experience here today. This was my first time in a GC in years. I was presently surprised when the buffet had more food options then what was showed online. The fried chicken was fantastic. I have eaten the “famous” fried chicken at Pizza Ranch and this was better. The best thing I ate was the apple cobbler. It was amazing and I’m still craving it. The restuarant was clean, and the service was good even though it seemed a bit chaotic.

The day that we were there for lunch was the day of my granddaughters graduation. I have to say that the only thing that was good was the server that was taking care of us. She was amazing, she was friendly, very helpful, and right on top of things. The food was terrible, it tasted “funny”. I asked if there was different food to be brought out, and the person behind the food counter was rude. Her English was less than acceptable for customer service, and her attitude was even worse. The women behind the desert counter apparently had the same problem. I would NOT recommend this place to anyone for those reasons. But again, our server was amazing!

This golden corral off of 285 is way better than the one you’ll find on Grant. The food is better, the service is better, and it is allot cleaner. I couldn’t believe the difference. This one is off of Hampton and highway 85 in the same lot as target. You’ve got to give it a try, you’ll see what I’m talking about.

WE’VE BEEN GOING TO THE GOLDEN CORRAL FOR MANY YEARS. I especially enjoy the gigantic tasty strawberries dipped in hot chocolate sauce and the outrageous country music! THE BEST TIME TO GO is definitely Monday – Friday AFTERNOONS. Weekends are much more crowded . . . and more expensive!

Typical of the Golden Corral experience, if you’ve been to one, you’ve been to them all. Clean, more and better food options than Country Buffet (although Country Buffet has better and more dessert options,) and the ladies work hard to keep your drinks filled as they can while they clear dishes and clean tables. This was the first time we have been there for breakfast. The Hash Brown Casserole was pretty good. The building itself is kind of hard to find if you have never been there before, it’s kind of tucked in behind the PetsMart. Bunch of bratty kids running around right by our table while their “parents” did absolutely nothing to control them, but that’s not Golden Corral’s fault. The old dude at the register gave us the Senior discount even though we are a few years away from qualifying, so that was cool. Good value for your money!
