I went to eat and I found it a very nice place, from the service by the staff, the cleanliness and the food.
It is a buffet and there was a lot of variety in food and desserts.
Pasta and seafood is the best you can choose to eat.
My favorite dessert was the ice cream, the chocolate cake and the chocolate dipped strawberries.
The price is considerable because you can eat all the food and desserts that are on the trays.
The atmosphere is very good and from time to time they have live music.
It is an excellent place to have a nice dinner with family or friends.
I recommend it only if you are actually going to take advantage of the food.

I remember Golden Corral as the first restaurant where I, together with my fellow Filipino teachers, was treated to a good dinner back in 2002. It became then our favorite dining place during our early years in Laredo. My personal favorites were the steak and the fried chicken.
Last Sunday hubby and I decided to have lunch there. It was our first time to go since it was renovated. I like the new dining set-up; it looks more spacious and cleaner. I went for the steak but I did not enjoy it. It was dry and less tasty than the steak of my earlier years. I was looking for my favorite chicken and it was not there. Disappointed me! I tried the pot roast and that was a bit delish. For dessert, I tasted the chocolate cake and it was alright. Overall food was okay.

Good place to lunch, it needs a little love on the outside but overall good food, the service is good in the front desk, just a minor situation with one of the waiters, as a new customer I didn’t know that the drinks are served by the waiters and I took a juice, the waiter was rude telling me that and not explaining how does that works, aside of that all good

This was the best golden corral experience ever. I had actually decided never to eat at golden corral again because of bad experiences at the Houston location.
I have to say the food at this one was great, the service was fantastic, the staff were wearing black suits and hats and all looked very sharp and professional. Everything was fresh and constantly being replaced. There was even a live singer with a great voice.
I felt like I was in a high end restaurant and not a buffet.
Great job, I will be back.

The food was eh the guy on the grill didn’t know how to cook medium rare. The rest of the food was warm to cold. The desserts were the best thing about the whole experience there men’s restroom was cleanish. But what really made it a horrible experience was a guy singing karaoke in the corner. So load people had to yell there conversations to each other which made the experience even worse. I’m sorry to say he could not carry a tone and had no idea how to use the mic equalizer.

I love this restaurant chain. Took my aunt here and she loved that she had choices. I enjoyed my usual tender pot roast, yummy mashed potatoes and awesome salad. Couldn’t leave without some delicious desserts.

First time back since the rebuild. Looks beautiful. Quality is pretty good. Live entertainment. (Singer)Selection seems about the same as it’s been over the many years coming here. But cleaner and prettier! Seems like the staff may be taking more pride in all of it because of the new “digs”. Someone else had complimented the iced tea…..sorry, NOT ME! Something up with the water….butylene taste??? Maybe I’m just sensitive to it. But kinda ruins a glass of water or tea for me. If you’re drinking soda ….no problem. One word……Filter.
