This is one of my favorite places. This particular one I’m not so crazy about. A lot of things on the buffet was cold like the Salisbury steak. The fried chicken was not that good and not l65 at temp for sure. The steak is good. Over all I still like the place just not able to enjoy everything as I have at other locations.

What a hidden gem. We try to schedule our doctor appointments in Conroe so we can catch the weekday lunch at 11am. The food is fresh, hot and oh so good. The service is always top notch. The establishment is always clean. The manager is the best and cares about his veterans.

We enjoy the food and there is such a variety. It’s always fresh and the food goes so fast there’s no time for it to sit. It seems when it’s busy the busers/ wait staff sometimes come by the table too often or not often enough to stay on top of refills. Cleanliness is pretty decent but watch if you use their glasses as I’ve seen food in them after they came out of the wash. Over all not too bad!

Excellent food!!! Fresh, perfect temperatures, large quantities of everything. Good service, staff has everybody sing happy birthday to guests. Fresh hot coffee or tea with desserts, clean throughout even the lens room! Steak was perfect with perfect mashed potatoes and choice of hot gravies. Too many delightful deserts and soft serve icecream. Sr weekend price $15 what a deal! We will be back!! Oh they cater to veterans too (extra discount ).

My family and I usually go to the one in spring next to the HS because it is closer to us but after so many dissatisfied trips there recently we decided to take the extra 20 minute trip to see if we can go back to enjoying the place we once loved. Anyways the service was great, and everyone was nice and very helpful. It wasn’t dirty and if there was a mess it was cleared up immediately and that’s really nice bc I hate messy restaurants and seeing tables dirty for more than 30 minutes after the people done left. However the bathrooms were dirty which was weird because they smelled nice. I went to changed my 2 month olds pamper and at first the family room was occupied so I went into the regular girls restroom. The changing table was so filthy, it had brown stains on it and what looked like to be a big booger. So after I gathered my self and tried hard to stop gagging I went outside and I patiently waited at the family restroom door hoping this one was clean so I can change my baby girl before she started to get fussy because she was dirty. Once available I went inside and to my surprise it was just as dirty. I was shocked because who is putting their babies of any age on these filthy things!!

My 18-year old visited recently with friends and was telling me how good the food was, so after ~45 years of not going to a Golden Corral we thought we’d take him and try it…I mean, after that many years the restaurant chain must have improved if still in business, right? Wrong. The food was not great. The servers were very attentive and friendly. We liked the baked fish and fried chicken. The steak was a little tough and the fried shrimp was awful. Most of the food tasted like it came from a box – for example, the mashed potatoes and gravy. The dining area is about 20 years tardy on being renovated. I can only surmise that my 18-year old son is all about quantity at this age and will learn to appreciate quality?
