I officially give up on Golden Corral. Just went for lunch and I wanted to throw up the entire time. There was a used diaper on the post as we walked in, which I understand is more of a customer problem but other customers said it had been there for awhile. Also, the napkin dispenser was covered in dust, so I’m not sure how you are supposed to get a clean napkin if it’s covered in dust. Another thing is that we had to wait probably 15 minutes before we were seen. To top it all off, the food was disgusting. Mislabeled, not heated, and just gross. It sucks that I can’t get my money back. Never going to Golden Corral ever again.

Everything was good service. The atmosphere the food was mostly good. One item needs some looking at the pot, roast and potatoes. The pot roast was pretty dry and I went two different times and the pot roast was really dry. Other than that, awesome place awesome service. Perfect atmosphere. Thank you!

My last and final visit was very disappointing, service and food have gone downhill. Me and my family have been frequent visitors for years now but will probably not be going back anymore. I had gone in about 2 weeks before my last visit which was on Saturday august 2nd and me and my family noticed food was different as well as personnel which my last visit our usual server was no longer their as well as everyone else who use to work here they cleared out all employees and replaced with new ones which are not as competent as their other workers. Breakfast and lunch use to be good now all options are horrible they changed the way they use to make everything not sure what management was thinking with this change. Use to love the omelets here but on my last visit they were just inedible, oily and not appealing at all like they use to be with the other lady who was there making them not sure who told the new lady that’s how omelets are made and the manager did not seem to care as he just said well she can remake them as if they were not going to come out looking the same they really need to retrain their employees and step up their game or else this place is going to plummet even more than what it already is.( if only I had a picture of how the omelets use to look like compared to how horrible they are now)

I left this place 20 mins (before 10 AM) ago without a purchase. I went in for the breakfast buffet on 1.2.26. There was no one at the counter, I had to wait 3 to 4 minutes until someone came. Then comes Maria from the right side of the restaurant to charge me. On the 2 large TV screens hanging it is clearly shown breakfast buffet at $11.99. My total comes to $13 something. I asked Maria why is she charging me more than listed?

She tells me the price has changed in the system and the TVs will be changed later today. Maria says it’s only 60 cents more. I told her that is false advertisement and the price should be honored. Maria says she can’t. I ask to speak to a manager, she there isn’t one on site, then I ask for a supervisor, same not on site, then I ask phone #, I didn’t get one.

After the back and forth with Maria, I told her forget it, I will leave and go elsewhere. She says I will give you the discount. The needless bk and forth and she had the ability to give the discount at the beginning.

As I was leaving the counter a employee comes in to clock in for their shift. Maria then speaks ill of me with the other employee in Spanish. I am not fully away from the counter. I am bilingual I understood what was said.
At least wait until a person leaves the restaurant to say whatever.

Management do better, poor customer service

No ice cream, very little selections, and hard to get a server by the meat counter. We ordered lobster tail and it was undercooked and they forgot to bring it out to us! They did a good job clearing our table regularly but that’s about it!

Terrible customer service. Waiter did not remove dirty plates or cups once. She kept staring at me while walking around entire time I ate my food.

Food was outrageously cold. A lot of the meat looked as if it was sitting out for many hours, not safe to eat. None of the food labels even matched, some of the meat was so poorly prepared I couldn’t even tell what it was.

Deserts looked smashed and mangled, poorly made.

I posted a picture of this meat, paper thin, dry, and looked like cardboard.

Condiments on table were expired.

Restaurant was dirty with food stuck to walls, needed to be vacuumed, and flies everywhere.

For a restaurant next to the Algonquin commons, this doesn’t make any sense.

Overall, this was an absolutely gross experience. I’m not a Karen, and I wasn’t expecting much from a golden Carrol, but this place really needs to be shut down and gain new management. Any customer that comes here will likely not come back or spread very bad reviews of this company to others.

And if you made it this far, I would compare eating at this place to a restaurant in some unincorporated Indiana Trailer park town staffed by people with no cooking or restaurant experience. To think I paid $25.00 a plate….

We’ve probably been here a dozen times over the past several years and consistently, it’s still a 3-star spot for me, with the caveat that if you know what you’re getting and what to expect, it’s perfectly fine.

This is an affordable, all-you-can-eat, American-style buffet. In the last years, they’ve added a bit more variety and diversified their offerings slightly. You’ll still find the basics — pasta, mac & cheese, chicken, pizza, roast beef, and a salad bar — but now there’s also steak at the grill (expect a line or some wait at times), a taco bar with custom quesadilla requests, and even a waffle station. And they get bonus points for having disposable gloves available at the buffet stations.

I genuinely enjoy the salad bar and soup stations. They usually have chili, chicken noodle soup, and my favorite — clam chowder, which is surprisingly decent. My typical plate includes salads, cooked vegetables, a little meat, some soup, and yes… I’m a sucker for the pizza, which my kids also love. We always finish with dessert. The dessert section is extensive: pies, cakes, donuts (new), an ice cream machine with edible cones, and plenty of toppings like M&Ms, gummies, caramel and chocolate syrup. They also have bagged cotton candy ready to go — and yes, you can take it home. Naturally, this is the kids’ favorite area.

What could really use improvement — is the building itself. It’s clearly overdue for renovation, especially the restrooms (at least on the women’s side). They’re usable, but barely. Some stall doors don’t close properly, some require double latching, and others need a full body shove to shut. Toilet paper holders are falling off their hinges, automatic flush buttons don’t always work, and you sometimes have to flush manually. The sinks and hand dryers do work, and there is soap and paper towels available, but overall the space could use better upkeep, fragrance, and general maintenance. I’m not complaining — just pointing out that aesthetics and functionality could definitely be improved.

That said, we still come here fairly often — a few times a year at least. It’s affordable, easy, and the kids love it. Dinner pricing for us was $10 per child and $18 per adult. Kids’ meals include drinks (like strawberry lemonade), while adult sodas are an extra $3.59. During the week, kids can sometimes eat free or for as low as $3 with a paying adult, though we usually come on weekends and haven’t tried those deals. Also, during the summer reading months, they partner with local libraries to give out free meal tickets for kids who participate which is nice. Then year round, there is also senior pricing available.

We consistently receive great table service from Dominic, who clears plates quickly, refills drinks, and works very hard — we always make sure to tip him. The rest of the staff also seems to work hard. During our most recent visit, they were decorating for Valentine’s Day, and there was even a painter working on the glass, which was fun to watch. Additionally, they have a couple TVs in the dining areas and it keeps the kids entertained for a few minutes. I see many families come whenever we dine and kids settle in with their iPads. This place is definitely a go-to for many.

Overall, we’ll continue coming back, as we’ve done many times before. The food quality is average — exactly what you’d expect from a buffet — but you’ll leave full if you come hungry. As with any buffet, this is not a great option if you have food allergies, strict dietary restrictions, or concerns about cross-contamination.

In short, if you know what to expect, this can be a decent, no-hassle dinner option and a nice break for parents who don’t want to cook multiple meals at home.

Bonus tip: During colder months, the tables near the hot foods & dessert bar tend to feel warmer than those near the salad bar (as those areas have cool air for the salads) though the salad bar dining side is closer to the restrooms.

Without a doubt the filthiest restaurant I have EVER been in. The food was good, but I kept asking myself if it’s this dirty where I can see it, what is it like behind the scene? I will NEVER go back. We had to switch our salt shaker with another table it was covered with dried on food and gunk. Ewww. I would have left it I hadn’t been taking my friend to see her daughter for her 87th birthday. Why hasn’t this place been shut down?

My family and I just left here 1/16/2026 we went here for lunch. The food was unseasoned and nasty. The food tasted like it was sitting out for hours. The rice was hard and cold, chicken hard and cold. The place was empty and we see why. We asked the manager are they going to put new food out and his reply was when the food is all gone, new food come out. Which means he doesn’t care how long the food is sitting out there. Saved your money eat somewhere else.

I pulled a packaged butter and it was spicy weird. Means its spoiled. The carrot raisen salad also spoiled. Management must not be doing well. Test before feeding your kids or helping elderly. Yes,I made them replace it. Fish and other stuff oddly cold. Sorry true!
