We drive all around and have a lot of stops at the Golden corral cause they’re easy and quick good priced and usually a great place to go. I have never been to a golden corral as disgusting as this one. Not only was the nacho cheese sitting there. It had a huge skim on top the soups empty. The stuff in the salad bar was brown, and the tuna salad had some crusty stuff on top. Our waitress never asked us if we wanted refills. One of her other people was clearing our plates the nicest person, and the best part of our visit was young man who took our cash at the beginning, he deserves a praise. I will not return to this location as I’m very disappointed. I would much rather drive the extra distance to go to one that has better reviews. Also it’s really hard to eat at a golden corral when you don’t know what you’re eating because nothing is labelled or when the clean dishes come out and they’re dirty. Also The bathrooms were very poor out of toilet paper and the floors were not cleaned It would look like days

1st time in over 15 years I have been to a golden corral and was pleasantly suprised. The service was really good. Our waitress checked in often and was super friendly and nice. The restaurant itself was well upkept and clean clear and organized. The pricing wasnt bad and the food was seasoned solid and cooked really well. Will definitely be back soon!

I was up here yesterday evening with a good friend. I had a few pieces of chicken, mashed potatoes, mushrooms, gravy. I also had afew pumpkin pie slices, and a lot of pudding and sprite or 7up. It was really super busy compared to the Westland location.

Compared to other locations, my family and I are extremely disappointed in our experience at this location. The washroom smelled filthy and had no hand soap. Our table receive no service at all. The waitress did not acknowledge us but was super friendly to the tables right beside us and kept checking in on them. She would make eye contact with us and look at the stack of plates we piled up, but did not take them out of our way. The only person that acknowledged us was the cashier who welcomed us when we came in and said bye as we left. We’re never coming back to this location.

Food was good especially the ribs OMG Falling off the bone I also enjoy the Mac in the pizza so cheesy in hot. The crab salad was awesome. The Fanta orange soda was very tasty.

Went for lunch Jan.16th, 2026. Drink bar at front had no ice tea at all, only had diet coke or rootbeer. Dining area was messy, the pans were empty, arrived at 1: pm. Waited for 30 minutes for the fried chicken to be refilled. Plates were wet. No silverware. Salad bar messy, same for the desert bar, didn’t eat anything from it other than butter for a baked potato, and the worst part was the waitress, she ignored us so I finally got her attention and litterally felt threatened, and was lectured by her, because I asked for a rootbeer and she had to walk to the front of the restaurant to get it. While we were there, because of the waitress, 3 other tables got up took their reciept and demanded a refund. She finally brought 1 coke to our table, I said I ordered a rootbeer, she became angry and took 3 minutes lecturing me as to why she shouldn’t have to walk to the front of the restaurant to get the pop. I told her I didn’t need an explanation, just my drink refilled, upon her return she made me feel threatened while she stood over me with another lecture, and then finally set the rootbeer down, but I wouldn’t drink it, for fear she had tampered with it. Won’t be going back to the Taylor Michigan location. I am a senior, but she actually even yelled at a small child. Told customers they couldn’t sit in certain sections because she didn’t want to clean another section. This table was one that demanded a refund. There was 8 people in that party. They definately won’t be back for awhile. And neither will the other two tables. A gentleman eating alone was waiting on silverware and she told him as she did us, well your gonna have to wait a minute. Then he had enough, after he waited for quite awhile and picked up his receipt, she went to his table then and said again he needed to hang on because she didn’t want no trouble, he told her I heard you the first time, and proceeded to leave anyway. She was rude, apparently having a very bad day and allowing it to reflect onto customers. We shortened our dining time and left also, but I stopped to talk to a manager, explained to her our treatment and asked for our waitress name, because I intended to complain in writing. Told her of our experience and he reply about our experience, Yes I know. Please address this situation before someone else has to feel threatened. Also this waitress needs to be retrained, you don’t carry a glass of liquid tucked under your arm to a table for someone to drink. Unbelievable!

The Store get High Praises for being clean and friendly, Love the pricing too amazing. The salad bar delicious. My only draw back was the quality of the food, some things were canned and others looking kinda cheap. But they say you get what you pay for. I would return again. I was able to enjoy a nice meal

Idk what it is with the Franchise owners up here in Michigan, but you guys just don’t give a damn. You don’t care. What food is there is cold. You don’t cook enough food for the people / time of business. Corn was cold. Mash potatoes were cold. Baked chicken was rubber. Fried chicken wasn’t crispy. Its a damn shame when even my 5 year old says your Mac and Cheese was yucky. Down south… Jacksonville, FL. Normandy Blvd. Call that owner. Get some tips and training. Hilton Head. South Carolina. Call that owner. You need help and they do it RIGHT!
Flint location is equally bad. They need just as much help. Also what is with the Coke being out and 3 others. Only thing you had was Sprite or water. Clearly you guys have food control and inventory ordering issues.

Excellent salad bar and hot food choices. Good desserts. Clean restroom. Flickering parking lot light was irritating. Overall it was a good value for what you got. Recommended.

Went to the Taylor, Michigan Golden Corral at 11 am today with a coworker. Once we paid to go in, we passed up 3 tables that had not been wiped down. They had just opened and there were only 3 cars in the parking lot.
I went to the buffet line to get my favorites (Pot roast, Scalloped potatoes, steakburger, meatloaf, homestyle stuffing, and fried ravioli). None of them were there!
The baked chicken and bbq chicken pieces were cold-no warmth left to them. And all chicken I tried was dried out. The Mac and cheese was cold. The cabbage was nasty because it was cold! It’s like this food was leftover over from the day before and the barely heated it up, put it on the serving line, and it cooled down quickly. The only thing that was good were the rolls and ham they brought out right before we left. Even the ham the woman sliced upright before I grabbed some was cold! But it wasn’t dry and it tasted good. We remember a day when Golden Corral was really good, but those days are gone. We will NEVER eat there again.
